Glad to have helped. Thanks :)
BTW Thanks for this amazing video.
Not sure how I missed this one. You're welcome :)
Thank you sooo much!!!

Hi, Great video but for me it stops working when you press the streaming button on the larix broadcaster app. Mine gives me the following error: Local, could not connect to server
i have both IP adresses double checked, could you help me figuring out what is going wrong?
i get the same error... any help?
@@carver90029 i let someone else fix the problem. Im not using larix anymore because streamcast is a better option.

Hi Cliff, thank you for your tutorial.
Do you think is it possible to do the same with a RTMP server?
Great question, I made a quick response short here... ruclips.net/user/shortsnO4oCAZZJfg
if i am using the mobile connection with noip, should I keep the OBS source with my ip found using the command prompt or do I replace it with the noip one?
If you haven't already done so I recommend watching my video on Connection Issues. It should help... ruclips.net/video/aF6uwxl6oUU/видео.html
Thanks a bunch! Only weird thing that is happening is I am getting a twtich message like this: "Scene switched to "MAIN" | nginx: 5265" Do you know why it has the nginx bit on it? Is this normal?
I had a similar message when using Belabox Cloud with NoALBS - Scene switched to "Live" | BELABOX cloud: 4133, 72 ms
In my case Belabox Cloud maintained a log of my Bitrate & RTT connection info (4133, 72 ms) so NoALBS could react or respond to any changes.
In your case you probably have a local nginx server doing the same thing.
If it bothers you, you can turn off chat notifications in the NoALBS config file (I think it's autoSwitchNotification to false) and have an app like Streamer Bot handle the scene change chat alerts for you but yeah nah. Too much work lol. Thanks
Worked like a charm. Thanks! I'm seeing a big latency between the live video from my phone and what's displayed. If I want to use a phone as a webcam, how can I delay the video stream to sync with my camera delay? Thanks!
There's always a delay with this type of connection (mobile IRL, SRT, etc). If I'm at home on a wifi network and want to use my phone as a webcam I use an app like vdo ninja, obs camera, etc. Hope that helps :)
Do you know how to import multiple SRT sources in OBS with this technique? I wanna stream with two or more mobile phones on my PC and I want to switch from one or an other.
There's a multi-cam feature in SRT Loopy which I kinda cover in that video. I intend on doing a follow-up video with some of the things I've learned since recording this series.
First of all great video! Second would, can you stream two phones to obs at the same time? Like one Screen and one Camera Source?
Thanks and Yes, I've been using a 2 phone setup for the past month or so, screen sharing Discord or a game (Pokemon Go) from one phone while also showing my streaming video from another phone. This is one of several video ideas I've had in the works :)
Hey, the local one is working but the mobile one just doesn't want to work out of the blue, how is this possible? I added port forwarding with my IPV4 adress our do i need a portforwarding rule with my static IP? Which I can get on whatismyip
Thanks in advance for helping!
It could be that you're connected to your home wifi locally which won't work, turn off wifi on your phone and you should be good otherwise check out my other video for some other reasons why you're having connection issues like a breakdown of how/what to do with port forwarding - ruclips.net/video/aF6uwxl6oUU/видео.htmlsi=yDiuBTryswtFjnYo
how do you start and stop the stream while IRL? cant find a go live button on larix. thanks
I press the grey button in Larix to start/stop streaming to my computer and then use streamer bot to start/stop streaming to Twitch. I cover it in my other videos. Hope that helps :)
Hey quick question! Does this work with belabox?
Connecting a SRT stream to OBS should be the same (protocol, IP address, listener/sender, etc) but HOW Larix and Belabox handles them will be different.
It also depends if you're using Belabox Cloud and/or any other services.
I'm actually in the process of getting all the parts for a Belabox and when I do I'll be sharing my experience in getting it to work with my existing setup. Thanks!
Hello Cliff, should we keep the same ip on OBS?
Yes, run IPConfig on the streaming computer with OBS installed and use the same IP address in Larix and the Media Source in OBS. Your IP should be different from the example in the video. Hope that helps :)
I've been trying to enable the mobile connection for almost two days, I've change evertyhing multiples times and added to the port forwarding and even create an exception rule on my firewall even if is desactivated, sadly still have the same issue, it doesnt connect.. I dont know what else to do, I've already search all the info I could everywhere, this was the most helpful but anyways the problem remains if anyone knows any other crucial info let me know pls
It could be one of these reasons...

Or there's this other way...

Its Working fine but having so much Video Latency, about 3 to 4 second video delay..... Is there any solution
Video latency or lag seems to be a trade-off for the advantages of SRT and something I've gotten used to. In my experience 3-4 seconds is pretty normal so I consider this while streaming. For example, when I'm ending a stream I say my goodbyes then wait 3-4 seconds before pressing the stop button in Larix or IRL Pro. Streamer Bot automates some of this for me too.
For a real-time connection, at home, I'd switch to an app like Droid Cam. Hope that helps :)
Informative! Could you do a video like this but for irl pro?
Thanks. I'm indeed working on a video using the same desktop apps for IRL Pro
I’m a bit confused, with this setup meaning i can use my phone to stream like irl streaming and go any where? I am noob , i just want to di irl streaming using my phone
The reason for having a setup like this is so you have one continuous stream, whenever your mobile signal is weak or disconnects your stream stays up. Without a setup like this your stream will end frequently and whenever that happens you lose viewers. You can stream using your phone without a setup like this but only if you've got amazing mobile service in your area.
Thank you for your response now I understand, very helpful
Awesome! You're welcome, and glad to help :) @@Teboy
One more thing, do i need to do the same procesure like setting up all those ip add and everything whenever i need to go out and do irl stream? Thanks

when I get to the bit where I have to use my IP address it won't connect. I have gone into router settings and setup port forwarding on port 22222 and still no joy.
App: IRL Pro
Phone: Pixel 7a
OS: Windows 10 and Android 14
Is because I am using FTTP ipv6 CGNAT? What's the workaround for IPv6 address if this is the case?
I've been asked a few times about IPv6 and got it to work locally, I'll have to dig into it further for remote access.
I'm actually working on a new version of these tutorials and would really appreciate if you could ask me this question Again in my latest Community post so I can address this in a future video.
For now, try to see if your computer and/or router can do IPv4 because it might take me a while to get to this one. Thanks :)
@@cliffcreates I have found no free solution. I have either an IPV6 address or a private IPv4 address which is translated to a public IPv4 address. This means that port forwarding isn't possible, as I won't be able to reach the private IPv4 address over the Internet. This technology is called 'Carrier Grade NAT' or CGNAT.
@@SuspiciousPixels tricky as I don't have access to a CGNAT to replicate the same conditions as you.
Just wondering if you've seen my other video? ruclips.net/video/wn5Ql8GXiNg/видео.htmlsi=WSVMcW7iZ5f2AC1S
It works regardless of port forwarding, static IPs, etc
@@cliffcreates I was looking for free ways to do it but found a solution to get it all working now using a cloud service that gives me an IP address and modified Bellabox cloud for srtla.
How can you do to stream IRL outside and be connected to the PC OBS via interner data?
I use my mobile data plan to stream from my phone to my PC at home. It's about 1 GB for every hour you stream with your mobile and the same for the home pc. This other video explains some of it - ruclips.net/video/Fkc3nHRbWH4/видео.htmlsi=qjmsLffMAJ0ZWdJi

Trying to do this and I constantly get error in larix that could not connect to server. I've used all the same steps from here but not working :( please help?
This has happened a few times to me while streaming. It'll just stop working because of the same error. I think it's a limitation of the Media Source in OBS because it'll work again after restarting OBS or my pc. As a result I restart my pc before streaming more often now
@@cliffcreates Tried that and still no luck ugh
@@StormChaserTylerKurtz does it connect at all for you?

Yeah, I caught a bit of flank about that for my older videos 😅 1080p on the newer stuff, I still don't think it's that big of a deal lol
I have an Encoder TBS2603AU with my Sony a7III , how can I proceed to go live from my camera ?
Based on a quick google search of your encoder - connect your Sony A7iii to the encoder with an HDMI cable, then you'd need a way to send the video signal over the internet like with an ethernet cable to your home router. For IRL, a 4G/5G hot spot modem router.
TBH I think this would be a pretty bulky setup for IRL (batteries for everything, etc) but I suppose it depends on your setup.
The encoder says supports RTMP so you could stream directly to a platform like RUclips or Twitch.
@@cliffcreates Thank you very much for your response .
So we bought everything that we need for the setup , power bank , TP Router and Encoder…
The problem is we cannot send the signal to OBS from the camera…
We’ve bought everything because of a guy named Spreezy on RUclips!
We’ve tried the App that is called Larix screen caster , and it works fine , we can see the camera on OBS.
So , for the phone we put the same IP on for listener and caller and it worked!
My question is how do we do the think with IP on encoder to receive the signal on OBS ?
@@cliffcreates thanks for responding, appreciate it really much !
So , we have everything but we don’t get the IP thing , would you mind helping ?
How do we get the camera info to OBS ?
You're welcome @123456789superkiller 😊
IP thing? For OBS? Well, since your encoder doesn't support SRT you can try an RTMP server on your home computer that you can then feed into OBS
