  • thensi.org/ - It's time to learn the very basics of drilling into wood and metal pieces using a drill press! Part of our mission is to provide access to many tools that a person may not have room for at home, be able to afford, or are just kinda esoteric. So we're making a video series to help them learn to use them at their own pace and comfort level! We hope anyone that can't visit and learn with us easily will also get something from them as they try to make their own projects or ideas a reality at home.

Something I learned recently is to tighten the drill chuck using all the holes. Sounds weird but it works.

Really great info guys! I've been looking for a step by step drill press tutorial for a while. Watching each step in real time, while simultaneously reading what is happening in each step makes for a very streamline education on the drill (for my learning process anyway!) TYFS! 💘💘💘

The device for holding the work is a vise, not a vice...

Turns out the spelling is right somewhere in the world either way. This one now identifies as British. (Will stick to American English more closely in the future, though.)
