Only way he would own a house at 18 is if he was a multi millionaire and the bank would know they could recover the asset if he defaults on the house. Renting is still a HUGE accomplishment though, as this looks like a 3 bedroom house, with a garden and a garage, this could be coming out to around £1200-£1,500 PCM (Depending on the area).
