I always get encouragement from this brother to keep growing in the knowledge of the word of God to put mi sight in the heavenly things. To defend the truth to serve and to teach others .
I agree that young men should be challenged to grow in faith and doctrine. But it takes many years of walking with Christ before a man is genuinely qualified for eldership. It's not simply a matter of biblical knowledge but also the ability to live a disciplined life.
The best eldership training resources I have used, and I have read 100's of books on this topic.
