It’s weird because the 86 team only had the one extra win, but I always felt comfortable with them and their was a sense of inevitably that they would win it all. I never felt that way with the 90 giants, and then when they lost at San Francisco towards the end of the season, and Simms went down I had little faith that they would go and end up knocking off the defending champs and beat the bills to win it all
The other Bill who now coaches the patriots teams said thie 90 team was not the most talented but played the best,, Tough solid all around team from coaching to the bottom of the roster.. Team committed no penalties and never really turned the ball over.. That alone made them pretty tough to beat if ya ask me!,,!
