Hi there. I'm a new subscriber. I also have Bipolar type 2 and I also have to prove to my husband and sister in law that I can do things myself and I don't need help to cook food or clean up my room. I hope that you are able to be around other people who are Bipolar and I hope that you can find a good therapist who can encourage you to do things that helps you be independent. I myself have a bus pass and I have learned how to get to my appointments and downtown by myself. Please tell your family that you can learn how to be independent and if you need their help, you with ask them. Take care and God bless you from Kingston Ontario Canada

Thank you for your love and kindness 💜 I appreciate your tips! I'm glad to hear you're figuring out how to be more independent, too.

    good video...
over the years it has helped me to have someone as a backup... but then for me to make decisions when I know im in a mild mood, that way any future work or maintenance on that decision can be done daily.... sometimes I need more help than I want, but the commitments I make also seem to help me grow....
also, I try to find enjoyment in boring life duties.... dishes, laundry, etc....
but no matter what, i frequently , negatively , see myself as being behind, but thats kind of an illusion... and I realize that

Thank you for your comment. What you say makes a lot of sense. And what we believe is often based on societal expectations or norms, which leads those illusions.

I think independence is a normal young adult desire

There was a time back in 2018 that I tried to take myself off, but other than that I've always been taking them
