Após 12 anos retorno a ver esse vídeo, saudades dessa época (a melhor época de todas)... Tibia 7.2, sem hotkeys, tudo era difícil e cada simples conquista já era motivo de satisfação! Época em que éramos movidos pela ambição de se tornar mais fortes aliada com os mistérios e incertezas que o jogo proporciona, eu tenho muito pra falar sobre tudo que vivi, experiências in-game - aventuras - guerras - amizades... Talvez a época proporcionava isso de forma mais fácil, creio que as emoções que eram vividas, eram de fato verdadeiras. De tudo isso, e de todas as lições que aprendi, não acho que tibia foi apenas mais um jogo, mais um RPG, foi muito além disso. Mas o tempo passa e nós temos que focar em outras coisas, nem sempre por querer, mas sim pela necessidade (Isso ocorre naturalmente), enfim... Sou grato, e é isso que importa! Tenho certeza que todos que jogaram nessa época sabem bem do que estou falando!
Astronis foi meu herói nos meus 12 anos e é uma lenda até hoje pqp Vejo esse vídeo a mais da metade da minha vida e nunca consigo não me arrepiar. Ahhh I remember when this video first came out. Truly epic. People don't seem to understand exactly what it is Astronis pulled off. Back when you had to load your own ammo, click and aim runes by hand, all the while healing yourself every 2 seconds, switching Frost Rapiers, and hoping what happened to Selenia doesn't happen! I remember back when I was a wee little level 30 knight, dreaming of my StoneCutters Axe. Nowadays they are a dime a dozen :'(

What made this game great was it's simple mechanics. Smaller maps promoted more player interactions. Fewer itens and resources. I liked to think of this game as sort of the "chess of mmos' (remember WoW came out about that time and had many times more features). There was... less. But endless possibilities to be explored, so player skill and strategy was more important in many aspects. For example, with overall much lower levels, capacity was something you had to think about. How to balance each type of runes and ammo in your inventory? Nowadays high levels can carry enough for a week, even mages. If you were a mage you really had to count the oz, how many bps of mana, SD, uh, gbp and other utility runes such as magic walls, destroy fields as well as burst arrows that had significant weight. Now you can just spam, you won't run out of anything.

Then the bots showed up. The polish took over and pandoria became a bot server. Before the bots we had real true players. The tanks. The druids, sorcerers and paladins. When burts arrows meant something. Ice rapiers could go from 50 to 500 depending on the ramdomd damage. U.E was the most powerfull attack. And knights exori plus defense mode could even take 5 demons. After the updates. It became backwars. Miss old tibia
