- Its been COMMONLY Agreed upon that DC is much better than Marvel in terms of Animation...but no one ever breaks down WHY. In this video I give my reasons on WHY Marvel is so lackluster at Animation, and how they could EASILY become great at it!

But the epic and best Marvel MAU 90s and Ultimate Avengers. these Universes are epic, the worst is MAU Marvel's Spiderman 2017

Actually Marvel did make animated media based off of their iconic comic book storylines. A few of the Marvel animated movies they did make were adaptions of Marvel comic books, Planet Hulk and both Ultimate Avengers 1 and 2, for example. Comic book storylines were also adapted into Spiderman The Animated Series and X-Men The Animated Series.
In resume, marvel does not give freedom, time and money for the animation group , they do what they can in a minimum amount of time getting paid what they don't deserve, while warner, at least pays them and give enough time to create good things

90s marvel was cool. And spectacular Spider-Man was great. Earths mightiest heroes was great too.

When i hear Marvel animated my mind always goes back to X-men and Spider-man in early 90s. It was just Batman on DC side. DCAU was actually latecomer

I called this two years ago that it's finally dc's turn to hold the torch and take the mantle and be the face of cinematic superhero films Marvel we had out time it's been a good 35-40 years ( yes I know the mcu wasn't officially formed until 2008 but Marvel characters have been hitting the big screen long before then) but it's time we step down and hand the torch and put how Faith on the back of the dceu and I don't think they're gonna disappoint

Marvel put more into their movies than animations.
But DC animations can NEVER EVER be beaten even by Marvel cos DC animations are the BEST.
Even at their worst, DC animations are still enjoyable.
But I think DC's movies aren't doing so well cos of too much interference from the top. Warner Bros executives need to give their employees creative freedom and also they need to think about making their fans happy instead their pockets.

Actually The Spectacular Spiderman tv show got cancelled after 2 seasons, because Disney got the Spiderman tv show rights back from Sony.
I liked both actually, plus avengers assemble isn’t that bad it’s had its moments, ultimate Spider-Man too
Both of the Spiderman properties he likes are associated with Sony. So it's Sony's influence that makes those properties great.
Besides the latest Joker with Joaquin Phoenix DC live action movies have been terrible though after the Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Batmans
The Snyder Verse was amazing, The sucide squad (2021) was good, and The Batman was good

I might be a lil order so to me marvel had good cartoons as well especially spiderman & xmen of the 90s era
One big advantage DC animation has is that they have some executives who are really good at cultivating talent. Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett are great at recognizing talented new writers and artists, giving them opportunities, putting them on teams with other talented artists, mentoring them, and promoting them to take on more responsibilities.
Once those writers and artists have proven themselves, Timm and Burnett help them get their own shows and movies. And then DC animation has a new generation of talented and passionate creators to make more great stuff.
Marvel animation hasn't done that. In fact, they've wasted the talent they had. They had a great team of showrunner, Craig Kyle, Chris Yost, and Boyd Kirkland. They were responsible for X-Men: Evolution, Wolverine and the X-Men, and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. And Marvel just wasted them. After Jeph Loeb took over Marvel Television in 2010, he cancelled Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and didn't bother giving the showrunners a new show.
The problem with marvel is that they barely make any animated movies, for Marvel levalone, any Spider-Man animated movies. Yes, so many stories that they could adapt

There are some definitive voices actors in Marvel
Fred Tasticore is a Definitive Hulk. He is there go to guy for Hulk.
Cal Todd and Steve Blum both did a great job as Wolverine.
The reason why marvel has different voice actors doing characters is that the properties go shifting between different people making them. So of course you will get different actors playing the same character. Duh!!
Hey marvel shows like X-Men , avengers, and Spider-Man are good you know . They don’t have to be MCU related and plus , some marvel movies are not MCU movie. I mean I love DC too you know, but I love both marvel and DC equally they both had good movies. They both had good tv animation and both got a good comics.

They actually need to take a chance and make an animated mature universe that ends with a showdown with one of the big baddies and is mixed with The Marvel Ultimatum event. It kind of worked for The DC Animated movies. Something drastic needs to be done with marvels' animation but I don't know if Disney is willing to let them take that chance.

The Avengers Assemble animated series doesn't deserve a 0 and a 18 score it's not a perfect show but it is pretty good

well at least now we have moon girl and devil dinosaur as the top animated series they ever made,but i still prefer dc also i don't watch the live action movies or series they make,man that's a lot to watch just to say marvel needs to make more adult animated series as dc,look even fionna and cake entered to adult cartoonss to tell the story they wanted to tell but looks like they are scared of trying that because disney owns the tv media of their animated series,as i said moon girl series it's changing that a little bit but it's a long road till the end
I don't think the fact that DC is leagues better than Marvel in terms of writing with their movies. I think it's because DC capitalizes off of their animated movies and shows cuz they know that that's what their grade had and they push out more content while simultaneously not sacrificing the writing and quality, meanwhile, Marvel only really has seven animated shows that I can name off the top of my head that are all great and DC has like 20. (But let's not sleep on avengers earth mightiest heroes that was hands down their best animated project ever and I'll stand by that for the rest of my life)

I really don’t want to be that guy but spectacular Spider-Man had two seasons not one and it was only canceled because of legal reasons. Also Josh Keaton is definitely the definitive voice actor for spidey so marvel does have a voice actor that’s definitive. I’m sorry again I don’t wanna be that guy but I have to defend one of my favorite superhero shows of all time😭
Overall though DC definitely wins when it comes to animated projects, although I genuinely loved earths mightiest heroes that show was awesome especially when rewatching it years later and it was unnecessarily canceled

Some Marvel animated shows and movies were pretty awesome. All these Marvel cartoons from the 1990s were mostly the best such as: X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and She-Hulk, etc. As for animated movies, Ultimate Avengers 1 and 2 were pretty good and so was Next Avengers: Heroe's of Tomorrow.
But there is no doubt that I loved Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Avengers Assemble.

I think marvel has rear track record of animation because people are always divided on the marvels animated projects.
I feel like you’re a bit harsh on marvel animation I feel like before on par with each other. But I will say that I agree with you on “the voice point” Kevin Conroy has been consistently voicing Batman same can’t be said with Spider-Man.

Also lets not forget marvel has more iconic games from the 90's made by capcom like xmen vs street fighter, x-men children of the atom etc that still holds up great today making them timeless.
DC had better games, but they don't seem to be doing so hot now, making their last good game injustice 2. DC might have better comics, but I don't really care anymore, the majority of comics suck these days marvel and DC.

Why does Avengers Assemble sucks? IMO, because is not an Avengers show, it's an Iron Man Show. It should've been called "Iron Man and His Friends". Dr. Doom is an Iron Man villain, Red Skull is an Iron Man villain, Kang is an Iron Man villain, Ultron is an Iron Man villain, and even Beyonder is an Iron Man villain. Tony saves the day most of the time. I never was the biggest Iron Man fan (I do not hate him), but that's not the problem. The problem is that the show is called Avengers, not Iron Man. Overall, I don't think it's a bad show, it's just meh.
But, look at Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes. You have episodes dedicated to each member of the team (important ones), and episodes with Avengers as a team. When they fought Loki, Kang, Ultron, or anyone else, each member was important, not just Iron Man, or Thor, or Hulk.
Avengers EMH has the worst animation IMO 😉😏

To be fair to Marvel...DC animation is 100% surviving off it's reputation at this point ..they aren't nearly as good as they used to be and they barely follow comics..the more they moved on from Timmverse the worse these movies have gotten...voice talent isn't as great anymore..the injustice adaptation was horrible, they never should of touched Killing Joke...they half assed those movies simply because they knew the titles would garner attention..they have become lazy and complacent..these movies went from feeling like labors of love to straight up cash grabs..and every movie from the new 52 era fuckin sucked
