Also, since you're slowly getting into OPM (Original Pinoy Music) , you should check out Sarah Geronimo and her song "Tala" . This was a hit song and made what we called TALA fever 5years ago just like the PANTROPIKO fever recently by BINI. And BINI idolizes her so much. Lastly, Sarah G and Sheena actually has resemblances so yeah. Hoping you could check her out.

And the "older" or common the actual tagalog words are, the more agressive it is phonetically.

Thank you for the RV, Pierre. You are correct in stating that the Tagalog emphasizes each syllable in every word. The language also does not have silent consonants, save for the "g" in "ng (either used as a suffix or by itself)" or in "mga"
and only a few contractions (e.g. 'di (for "hindi" or no), sa'yo ("sa iyo" or for you)).
These characteristics make Tagalog songs melodic and perfectly capture the emotions expressed within.

Yes, I would agree Tagalog is good to listen especially when it is used in singing (And that is without bias since I am a Filipino 😅). So I think you should listen more to PPop and OPMs (Original Pinoy Music)

Tagalog is read as it is spelled. essentially there are only five vowels unlike in other languages that vowel letters have different other pronunciations or combinations of letters that produce different vowels.
Tah-Gah-Log the 'A' is a "ah" sound while the 'O' is a short "oh" sound. A lot of times it sounds different cause of the American accent, while Tagalog is more syllable based pronunciation.
We're still hoping for more groups to feature the girls in their MV's seeing them in other artist's MV's is such a treat.
