I disagree. There are literally billions of people around the world who are working their butts off trying to get ahead. They want to invest and save, but they just don't make enough money to get to the bottom floor of the current system. Most of them are unbanked as well. If they could easily fractionally invest in an asset that could provide a return...like gold for instance, let's say in increments of $1 or less, let's say via a feature phone-that's a huge market that's currently untapped.
It's the future tech for tracking transactions with no room for fraud or false data and thus tracking us completely. It would be stupid to think the governments do not want to track our every move. The future is here here and it's not pretty. There is a giant problem for the governments and the solution has arrived in the form of blockchain. We will be tied to those chains eventually.
