If Nascar truly wants to make a big step up for next season, bin the playoffs and accept applications for another tire manufacturer. Yes, we've had many issues with the car being too stiff and bad to hit anything in, but that's an issue that takes time to resolve. Changing how the races are scored and going back to a full season championship is an "easy" change, and there's nothing better to get the teams to push hard early on and all the way through the year. And new rubbers should, in theory, add another layer of competition and differentiate where each car has pace. Chase Elliot criticized the chef before he got into the restaurant and he got his dish served flaming hot !
Its time nascar do something about the tyres
This race was a complete dumpster fire, but not unexpected. The problems with the nextgen are really revealing themselves in the playoffs. Thank God Cody Ware wasn't more seriously hurt. As a longtime fan, I have no faith in this car. I dread Talladega. We've been lucky so far. I thought for a while the cars would stop catching fire. What happened to the system that suppresses fires (gen 6 had it)? Scott Miller keeps popping his head up and passing the buck to the drivers and teams but we're not fooled. This nextgen seems FUBAR.
Ah the joke of the racing world, wonder if I will make it through the whole video for once
Speaking of jokes, it's hilarious that idiots like you, think you're being clever, by constantly beating the same dead horse...
By your own admittance, you are not a fan of the sport. So much so, you can't even make it through a highlight video....
This is the part where you reply with the punchline.
You’d think with all the bs with peacock and nbc there would be a way to watch a replay of the race but nope. Greta for the people who work weekends and the dot doesn’t record the whole race due to the rain delay
I called it. I called it..
Amazing
hello
Either do something about the tires, or ditch the car and go back to the old car.
Tires were a problem, but the racing on track was some of the best Texas racing I've seen in years. Honestly, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the race.
It seems to me like the track surface is finally breaking in, so, maybe TMS should hold off on the repave?
It's not tires, it's the car.
@@tylerdurden4006 How does the car affect the tires the way tires were affected tonight?
My theory is that Goodyear brought a "soft" tire to Texas hoping for some tire fall-off; they did not anticipate the track's surface to be so abrasive. The tires they brought were too soft and, consequently, failed. That's my theory. Though I'm sure the car can be adjusted to mitigate some of the problem.
What changes would you make to the car?
GET SOME DECENT TIRES THAT DOESN'T RUINTHE RACE!!! GOODYEAR SUCKS!
These low pro tires absolutely suck...
