The public shop idea would be awesome, I've had the idea of a shop that people can rent out a lift and get access to a lift and tools for their car and they do their own work. Give hobby guys in the local area a chance to work on their car on a proper setup and do bigger jobs on their own.
thats literally my biggest problem is not having the proper tools and space
DAMEWORTH I have also had this idea for a long time too. It would be nice if I could do it in Maine. Though most people would probably rent it by the hour but the Gearhead's that build there own car's would be so cool to see.
These used to be a thing but people steal tools n damage property and so it gets ruined by jackasses looking for a quick buck
Neanderthal Person Yea I would probably run it on a membership model of sorts to try and target gear heads with project cars and then maybe try and get people looking to do basic stuff a few times a year like brakes, oil, fluids. A membership could hopefully mean that we have less people coming in willing to steal tools and damage property.
I have a shop on my property from when my dad started his business years ago. But it’s perfect to put 2 lifts and a paint bay in the back. I’ve really been thinking about it for people to use.

I feel like no one sits down and takes the time to just appreciate engines and all the moving parts it’s truly incredible and like all in unison and if one thing goes wrong it can make the engine not run it’s truly amazing 🤷🏼♂️

The lifter in an ohc engine are called lash adjuster and are there as a pivot point and they act like a hydraulic lifter and allow for valve expansion

On a coyote it is not a lifter it is a valve lash adjuster and it does not lift or move in its bore it just keeps the proper lash adjustment on the cam follower

It's crazy to think that you only have about 900k subs. You really deserve more, but I think I know why you don't have a lot more. Your videos cater to quite a small audience compared to the young LA kids who show off their Lamborghinis. This is definitely a lot better content, but less people click on your videos.

I own a shop in California and if i could offer just one bit of advice for your shop goal, its a awesome idea by the way. But if you do go public i would suggest doing a sort of specialty shop instead of just general repair. General repair is always a good thing to want to do but the headaches that come with it are almost not worth it at times! Diffrent acounts you need to set up for all the difrent models and makes and just a lot of crappy cars tend to show up witch i dont mean that to be rude or an insult in any way but its true. If you specials in blah year mustang to blah year mustang and do performance parts and builds and service on those cars if you choose to you will be sooooooo much happier and if you do a good job the cars will stack up like crazy for you to work on. Set performance packages and prices that are the same from job to job if they get the same upgrades so you know what your numbers will be. Specialty shops can make a killing if they do the work right and treat the customers like they are the only thing that matters even if they are getting a 30k engine or just a brake upgrade. Treat them all the same! You will kill it that way. Thats just my two cents LoL

Don’t know much about Dodge engines but I know Gen 3 hemis have probably with bad lifters due too lack of lubrication they’ll eat your can and it’s all due too a bad block design. I UncleTony did a good video explaining this issue.
