Hey everyone. The man performing in the CEC suit in this video name was Richard. Richard worked here from 1994 until the store became corporate owned in 2003 alongside doing The Rapid T. Rabbit Show. Unfortunately, he passed away yesterday - August 1, 2017. He informed the fandom and myself a lot about the Union CEC. And was a great performer and member of the community. My next video will be dedicated in his memory.
@@Big_Chuck_Official 4 years after posting this comment, I have recently found out my grandma has home video footage of Union from the mid or late 90’s along with some photos that I recently found of my uncle on the car ride.
I like how you can see animatronic Chuck thru the curtains when his star lights up, and I didn't know this store had Jasper and Helen...when did they get rid of them?
Yeah, that was cool! They never used them when I was there. I honestly don't really know. (Wow, something I don't know about Union! Well, Idk 80's stuff about Union. All I know is that it had a Balcony Stage and possibly a C-Stage after, it had the beagles, Jasper's Lounge and yeah that's pretty much it) Ask Richard he definitely knows. EH had them in 1996
I used to hang in that store as a regular guest from 1993 before I met Richard in 1994 and in 1996 I joined the cast from 1996 until corporate bought the store the year Richard left and then I left a few weeks later in 2013.Then I continued to be a guest until I moved to Texas in 2006 ten years after I started working there. Now I work for Walmart and I been going to the Webster Texas store now.
+Shane Everson Because from 1991-2005 they closed the 1st stage curtains during LIVE performances because the walkaround was out. (Besides in birthday shows from the 1980’s-1993 where the 1st stage curtains were open and the animatronic Chuck E. would sing)

The Santa suit Chuck E was wearing, looks awesome! All he needs is a hat and he'll be holiday ready. Plus Jasper in the show was pretty cool.

My favorite live show
why did chucke curtain stay closed but the lights in his stage worked
That's how it works. The lights go on when LIVE shows happen. Even with the curtains are closed.
but why did chucke curtain stay closed
