Snobs won't like the 'N', outstanding though it is, because it's not 'Euro Snob' material. Wouldn't matter what it was, if it's not a 'Vanity Brand', it doesn't make the cut. Sad. But Some mothers do 'ave 'em. :-(

It really is a good thing... Because now VW will have to up their game, try harder. Can't wait for the next generation of GTI. Also, the I30N mid-generation facelift. I really want to love this thing, but that interior... :/ If only Mazda rejoined the hot hatch game!

This review sounds so luke warm, sounds like someone wished that GTI could have smashed the new kind on the block to bits. Sorry guys, the game has changed. It's going to get more ferocious from this point. More power will be forthcoming as well as more tweaks. The Krauts are gong to be nursing their sore heads after this beating.

Really first rate video on the i30N. It's such a strong reinforcer of the truth, that, the Global automotive industry is an ever evolving 'beast'. I've lived through periods when 'cars were cool' from (don't laugh) The US, Britain, Europe, Japan, Europe (again) & now (there'll be naysayers as there were when flag carriers preceded first cars), Korea. But that doesn't disqualify the auto producing powerhouses elsewhere. Advanced nations will compete (even if some 'off-shoring' of production for economics is involved). I expect to see China compete 'significantly' quite soon, - they already are making tentative steps. So to the i30N. Great car & along with Kia (eg Stinger), & I expect great things from the Korean pair from now on. Badge snobs as usual need to tend to personal 'Freudian' vanity & other self-needs. It's for them to sort out. 'Fashionistas' I'll call them. 'Europen' is currently the in thing. For them 'sexy' the i30N ain't. It's their problem. when I was young, Euro cars were often laughing stocks,so it's 'as the World turns.

You serious..? 6 sec to 62mph not fast?!omg..because of today's super(hyper)cars who nobody can afford do times from 4,5 to less than 3 sec. to 62mph??? 0 - 100km/h in only 6,1 sec IS fast...!
