Mumbo you really should try making a flying machine that makes a cobblestone bridge. Useful everywhere. Especially in the End dimension for the first time.
rohit krishna someone has made it before and a design in the snapshots. He needs to come up with a way to move the lava to do this.
Cant move lava, so go fuck yourself. it's a no-go.
I really wanted to try making this with dispensers but found out they can't be moved ;(

If you've ever played Skyblock you'll know that you don't have to worry about water turning your lava into obsidian if you know how to build a cobble generator correctly. I feel like there's some way to use these mechanics to make a more efficient generator but I don't think this contraption really solved any issues I know of.
Yeah, and the easiest way is just to have the lava source and the water source with 10 blocks between them.
Lava floats 3 blocks from source in the overworld and water flows 7 blocks from source.
Spanish Chair I️ just wrote a comment about this before I️ saw yours. He tried to fix a problem that wasn’t there. Turning the water source to stone is an issue in stone generators but stone gens are broken in the snapshots it seems.
Mumbo i hope you read this. you can remake unbreakable wall with this design

Wasn't there an unbreakable wall build that didn't require any redstone? Just a ton of water and lava for a 5 layered wall (make two cobblestone walls side by side of a thickness of 1 and spacing between them of 1, pour a bucket of lava for each block from the down up so the lava will pour out of the wall at any height, once you fill the entire wall make a 1 block trench on the sides of the wall and then pour water on the center line allowing for obsidian to form on top and then have the water run along the sides. If lava physics are still the same the thing should pour out of the cobblestone wall wherever it breaks, the outpour touching the water line and form cobblestone, then if anyone manages to keep a hole open would still have to deal with a wall of lava)

I am a novice redstoner but I made a decent wall builder using that idea.
oh just got a problem with it sometimes not making cobble if you break the stone while it's at max height. won't generate more in that column until you restart machine. :/ might be fixable but :/ i'm not that good. got a big wall but it's pretty easy to get through.

Mrcreeper Gaming Lava can’t make source blocks and so the lava would disappear as the machine passes, leaving the road behind.
Road paver ( not base destroyer ) just make sure you put water

Yo, this is super cool! If only it were possible to get more lava in Skyblock maps, then this would be hella useful. Regardless, it’s a great farm (because who really wants to dig for cobble?)!

I'm creating a datapack for "Skyblock" where you can get almost everything. lava for example is made by smelting stone for a whole day (20min)
the pack is almost finished. just some decorative blocks are missing. and i need to create a void world with different biomes.

If you make an etho hopper clock with 4 items that triggers an observer, it is a perfect timing that pushes the cobble immediately when it’s created.
That final design would work just as well without even moving the water... just place the water sources one block more up. If you start with two layers of cobble already there, the water will flow straight down but never to the sides, and the lava will just flow against that water wall.

I think this would be great not only for never ending cobblestone but also for like a shield wall so enemies can't go through your castle and all you had to do is make this and when they come start it up. It could also be for skyblock or just part of a city in the sky in one of you own Survival world.

Ik this is an old vid but I always like ur vids mumbo-jumbo! And in a super flat hardcore world I dabbled a bit in Redstone nothing too fancy by making a collection system, a hopper to a dropper thats hooked up to a simple single repeater clock and a switch to turn it off and on, under the normal cobble generator and I'm just kinda proud I did something with Redstone.

You could use it as an automatic wall generator, and if your enemy tries to break the wall it will regenerate quicker than they can mine two blocks !

You can use the contraption as a bridge that when you stop the generating process and the bridge is built,you can use tnt to break the middle part of the bridge from either the top,or using the new underwater soul sand mechanics to launch the tnt upwards to the bridge.

This Is probably the best base defense mechanism I have ever seen. It would be complicated but you could surround your base with these walls and then use tnt doors to get in and out (piston doors can be boring once you get used to them).

I once built a rather fast generator. It’s not expert but it was friendly for survival mode! But I admit it was only a pole of cobble and I might build a better one! Because of this channel I finally know how to build T - flip flops

Back in the day when I still played minecraft, I made a cobblestone generator the day that pistons were added. But I designed it to travel down. It had two line going down and it would push them faster then yours is but only two lines not line. Keep in mind this was about 5 years ago or more on Xbox 360. Before the Xbox one came out. Watching this makes me wanna run to my pc and start playing again!
