I have a Ford 3600 from 1978, I have a transport box and a topper. Shes has her quirks but its all I need and want. Biddy is her name. Love from Ireland as always ❤
I like the air conditioning holes in the door and rear window. But as mum says, she has all the essentials. Fuel gauge, temperature gauge and steering wheel.
Fantastic episode Roo and Sarah...! I have the same affinity for our 1961 IH 460U. Best little utility tractor we’ve ever had on our farm. Starts EVERY time, no matter how cold. Is easy on fuel. Requires little more than routine maintenance and goes, goes, goes! We are the second owner. The fellow who originally had the tractor put less than 1,500 hours on her in all the time he owned her. Her tin is blemished, bumped, bruised and randy, but she keeps doing everything we ask of her. Stay healthy, safe and alert. Crazy times, for sure. Cheers! Whipple
Ode to an old tractor... Life in a nutshell as if to say "Thank you dear friend for all the great moments in life"... beautifull thought. Thank you FLANK.
Love the fact that she loves the finer things in life, so easy to see what's available and spend money on something you might never truly appreciate. Someone needs to get her a radio though lol, I think she really wants one every video to do with tractors has been I don't have a radio. Respect as alway's and keep up the good video's really enjoy sitting here watching them with a drink and something to eat
Another gentle video! Very relaxing to watch as I enter week 5 of isolation (or perhaps week 6). Thanks Flank and all for breaking the monotony. Rufus - almost shorts weather! Paul Hayday West Wycombe Village
It's a Massey Ferguson 565, the model between the 550 and 590. It replaced the 165. My family love your videos and I have driven past your farm many times.
We have a 575 Massey Ferguson similar to that. It's the main tractor on our farm does everything from dung spreading to topping and everything in between for a 42 year old tractor it's never let us done and when it's eventually retires I hope to have it restored
If it suits you that is all that counts but if you want make a profit in this world the faster you can get it done with the least diesel and wear on the machine the better
When they go wrong, the bastards who built them don't refuse to fix them or refuse to sell you the parts.Bloody US culture, money money money, bollocks to it.
They’re awful tractors compared to the competition, back end was too light so you had no grip, hence why it has a massive weight on it, the gearbox robbed the power from the Perkins, and the cabs were just horrible, there’s a reason you see far more fords, fiats and John Deere’s of that era

She's a joy to listen to.....her love of the land, cattle and her little girl.....the Massey.

That little tractor has got some wonderful charm to her that the big fancy ones are lacking.
Exactly what I think too! Thank you
Just brilliant thank you all. Massey Fergusons are a farming icon.
Ummmm........ The 61 series needs burning......... 😜
Poetry in motion - Graceful fluidity - Lovely stuff

Great Video as usual, your mum should have her own radio show,💚⚪💛☘️.
I still drive my grandfathers' old massey and absolutely adore my little tractor. It's easily fixable and customizable!

Rufus, your mum is ESSENTIAL. So is her little Massey. Both are worth a zillion Madonnas or Aston Martins.
Yes these old ones are much better than the modern ones with all their computers
Great video, I think it's a MF 550,

Electronic shuttle in a loader tractor is a must for me.

They don’t build them like they used too! Looks as though is was built in 1989 and as though it’s a 245. Brilliant video.
Great video!
I mean, you hit a rut with that exhaust it’s coming off easy 🤣 you see that thing wobbling about?
Great video, it’s a shame that farmers are Under appreciated, especially during these bizzare times. Keep on farming Flank, and buy British!
A Fergie takes a bit of beating.
She's a 550.
MF 550 or maybe 560, one of the better Massey ferguson, you can always trust the 100, 200, 300, and 500 series
Massey ferguson are the best!!!!!!!
I think I will be buried in my 135!!!!!!
She says that with a john deere loader on 🤣
That’s a MF 80 loader with a JD sticker on it !
We have a 590. It would be a bigger version of this generation and style. Just a bit off with the 135 mention. :)
i have 3 massey 188s super tractors almost 50 years old now still original
I've just watched Car SOS: Ferguson Tractor episode - co-incidence? I don't think so! :)
Hahah, so they beat us to it? Thanks for watching Ian + all the best from the farm.
Can anyone tell me the name of the piece of music at the start of this clip? Thanks!
Massey 265?
I have a Ford 333 and a little gray fergie that needs rebuilding cause the old owner didn’t look after it.
I love massy's
We have one plants and harvests a small patch of potatoes each year she's a peach

When they go wrong, the bastards who built them don't refuse to fix them or refuse to sell you the parts.Bloody US culture, money money money, bollocks to it.

John deere was one door, fords had tight space to squeeze through the door, definitely a quieter cab than the others, most underrated tractors I feel
