The titan that sasha rescued the girl from is Connie's dad and the episode at the night tower just before yimir revealed herself as a titan shifter we see two titans fighting each other and one is pulling the others ear. These two titans are Connie's brothers.
@@poploxion If you compare the brief portraits we see of Connie's dad and that Titan, it's a clear match. I'm not so sure about the fighting titans, but I've seen that stated before -- and I don't know of any other explanation for them fighting (brotherly roughhousing I guess?).
?? Sasha rescuing the girl was before joining the scouts, the village was turned to titans after. That one being the dad doesn't make sense. Brothers, could be
@@Lemonnnoomsno No, she rescued the girl after joining the scouts. As she was heading back to her home to warn everyone, there was a flashback to her conversation with her dad, then she was surprised to find a new village that was built after she'd left. Then she rescued Kaya and the Titan chased them. While they were running away, she thought about Ymir mocking her speech and Historia defending her. She escaped the Titan and then encountered her dad, who was proud of how much she'd grown since joining the scouts.
AoT has dialogue buildup second to none. Weaving so many different story lines into one episode and casually building suspense in the meanwhile are one of the things that make rewatching this show, through others perspectives, phenomenal. This episode is 1 of the best in the show.
This is the most dramatic chapter without the titans... at minute 08:28 is the part where the author Hajime Isayama speaks through Sasha's father's staff
Eren appearing out of nowhere after not being seen for a while was crazy. Especially after Armin saying something that makes you think of him and no one else. It’s so wild and scary how he just appears casually and shows his hand bleeding
at the end of attack on titan i wish to know were you guys rank this show between any show, anime or not, were you rank it right now? sasha father give one of the most important message of the show.
So many great episodes this season but this is near the top for most tightly written. It sums up the themes of the show so neatly and delivers so many reveals and twists. I just really admire what Isayama did with this arc, there are a few more to come that might be showcases for his raw power as a writer but this one shows how good he could be with the details and insights into human nature.
Kaya trying to kill Gabi after the truth comes out always brings me to tears. Words cannot express the pain, the betrayal after everything’s revealed. Gosh I love this show so much
The first half of this episode is the best of the series. Mr. Braus's speech is the show in a nutshell (wish you'd shown more of it). The voice actors for Gabi, Kaya, and especially Nicolo were AMAZING. Kaya's cry-screams were gut-wrenching. And then there's all the chaos of the second half. My favorite episode.
So you hate Zeke for doing what he did, but you probably don't have the same feeling for the Owl who also did bad things while he was undercover. Same with Annie, you hate her because she killed scouts, but you don't hate Armin for killing way more people including civilians in Liberio...makes no sense. If the show started in season 4, how would you see the scouts?
Why would they hate armin? It’s understandable to hate Zeke for what he did and the same for Annie despite the situation they were in. Obviously if the show started off in season 4 the outlooks would’ve been different but it didn’t so cares
@@daryeusford9696 Spoilers ahead. The point is to recognise how none of these characters are perfect, and that ignoring the human element of each character ensures hatred and violence perpetuates eternally. Zeke was always working towards the goal of saving the world from the power of the titans. He is trying to save the world in his mind and that is why the scouts and Ragako village were acceptable casualties in that pursuit. Granted, not all of those details have been revealed to them yet, but it should be clear to you. Similarly, Eren roped the scouts into an assault on Marley, and Armin killed many more than Zeke, especially in terms of civilians. In terms of a just cause, Zeke trying to save the world is more noble than Armin just trying to protect the Eldians on Paradis. The message of the show is that when you refuse to forgive and refuse to see those that have wronged you as people, cruelty gets perpetuated to breed further hate. In season 1, the idea that the Armoured Titan could be a sympathetic or tragic character is laughable, but the show goes to great lengths to show how good and evil are not black and white. No one is irredeemable and no one should be able to do whatever they want because of past suffering. Forgive people for past transgressions and try to uphold peace, or war will never end.
@@daryeusford9696 You do realize you just responded to me without explaining or saying anything? You clearly missed the point of the show and what it's trying to say. Why would they hate Armin? Maybe for killing thousands of innocent's civilians, most of them Eldians who were under the boot of Marley. He killed way more people including more innocents than Zeke and Annie combined ever did. He committed what today we would call war crimes. Annie never attacked or killed anybody who didn't attack her. And if you look at the fight with Eren at end of season 1 Annie is trying to avoid killing civilians as much as possible while Eren is just raging and destroying everything and not caring. In season 3 Lia said she loved revenge stories (talking about Eren) but why doesn't she love Gabi revenge story? Cuz from her perspective these people came to her town, destroyed it and killed her friends infront of her.
She has a new job in a new state so has less time and isn't the biggest fan of sub anyway. She's reacting to Arcane on Patreon though, should be released on youtube in about a month
