at 7:03 when ranveer asked what sanskrit do to your mind , it literally gave me goosebumps, because when i was in school i was topper in school , sanskrit was on my fingertips whenever there was exam of sanskrit , i used to teach my friends , whenever there was class test going on, my test used to finish in nick of time , and everyone would be so so so so amazed ,even the topper was jealous too,my teacher used to do mistakes i would go and correct her i loved it lot, but sadly i am now competitive exam aspirant , there's no sanskrit in my another school as i 've changed board , i miss studying sanskrit a lot, i think the main reason why i loved sanskrit was because i love old ,ancient bharat ,when india was rich in every field ,money ,education, farms and much more, and the discoveries like distance between earth and sun which was discovered in India , in hanuman chalisa , surgery by sushruta , even heels were invented in India (but they weren't meant for fashion those days ,but it had scientific reason ), and much more . sanskrit binded me to that time , but still i remember those tables , i recite ganesh , stotram , shiv tandavam, bhagvat geeta shlokas, sanskrit gives me power, in college i will try to explore sanskrit more.

Roughly two years ago Kali came to me during a time that my life was in mortal danger. I was not aware of what was happening, nor did it make sense to me until last summer. I was born and raised in an extremely Christain area of the States. What they preached to us was as bad as you could probably guess. My friend and I were outcast because we started to look into Occult information. After my experience with Kali, I started attending a kirtan group and then I stumbled across a Vivekananda Center where I learned about his intense love of Kali and I realized she was the one that was guiding me along. Learning Sanskrit has been a struggle for me, I have an auditory processing disorder that makes saying new sounds extremely difficult, however, listening to this video gave me motivation to not give up. Thank you both for sharing this information to the world.

This podcast is well timed, I used to like Sanskrit and have started practicing it, if we want to preserve Sanskrit we need to learn it beyond curriculum requirements, and the language itself is a delight. It opens up a treasure trove of literature. The books we lost in the peaceful invasions saddens me, hopefully someday we will be able to build it back

Yet another brilliant podcast! I'm a Sanskrit student myself and Udaya anna's videos have helped me a lot.
This podcast also made me remember AC sir's comment on making Sanskrit mandatory and a national language of our country. The languages that we speak play a huge role in how we perceive the world around us. For example Inuits living in Artic region have multiple words to describe snow, whereas we would only see snow as snow. There is also some tribe in Africa which has no word for the color blue so they recognize blue as green. So Imagine! Not only would having Sanskrit learned by everyone bring different sections together, raising a young generation well versed with a language that is so complete and profound will definitely bring prosperity to our country while holding on to or even benefiting from our ancient values and scriptures.

Sanskrit is Samaskritam, i.e, "Sama + Kirutam" meaning "equally spaced and sized writings" in ancient Tamil language. Prakrit is Parakritam, i.e, "Para + Kirutam" meaning "widely spread or elongated writings" in ancient Tamil language. You need Tamil to even explain what the words Sanskrit and Prakrit means. Decoding Indian history with Sanskrit language is like trying to open a door lock with a toothbrush. LOL. Sanskrit is a good language, but its the wrong key. You need to use Tamil as the key. If not the doors won't open. Tamil that is the oldest language on the planet, already exists in India. Why not use it as the national language ? If Tamil had been the national language of India, Indians would have understood long back how words like "Arjun" of Mahabharat came into existence. Arjun is Arjunan or Aarachunan, i.e, Aaaram + Achu + An (In Tamil, Aaaram means curve, Achu means sharp object, An means skilled possessor of). The word Arjun means skilled possessor of a curve and a sharp object, i.e, bow and arrow. That is how you get the words Archery, Arch, e.t.c. Even Draupati is Thraupati or Tharai + Pati meaning a vast piece of land. Pandavas (or Tamil Pandiya kings) split their farming land amongst 5 major communities for cultivation. This is what was shown as Draupati having 5 pandava husbands. Does it strike a resemblance ?. Krishna giving saree to Draupatis honor means he re-cultivated the land that was destroyed by hill dwelling Kuravas. Sadly you people have been holding on to Sanskrit all these years, thinking it will help you decode Indian history. But it won't.
