- We spotted the Australian Actress Cate Blanchett walking in the beautifull center of Paris. She walks to the "Theatre de la ville" where she is currently on stage in "Big and Small" from Botho Strauss.

I LOVE seeing her, but feel like I'm always invading her privacy. Sorry Cate.

i hate her totally. She has no heart for her fans and never give autographs or selfies, she is cold and heartless and i wish her all bad things in life.

Let her live her life. How incredibly intrusive. She poses at public events. Wish photographers would leave them alone when they are just going about their day. I wouldn’t trade my anonymity for being a celebrity. I would feel like I had to live in a cage or worry about unbalanced people. Good for her for wanting to walk about and not take a limo. Think that says a lot about her, actually. 👍🏻
I would have stopped her just to say congratulations for being still normal, however, she is a living legend...and wish her luck for her (still) raising and flying carreer and family life. what a woman! :) Xx
I saw her in 'Gross und Klein' last night at the Barbican and was absolutely mesmerised by her performance, she was incredible. Afterwards the exhausted cast (the play lasted well over two and a half hours) returned to the stage for a 'questions and answers' session and poor Cate was repeatedly handed the microphone by her co-actors as if it were about to explode...the cowards! (I wasn't complaining though)

How are people walking past her without noticing her?
In the 21st century , no movie star is super famous anymore since we are over saturated with too many entertainers. Even today many people out there don’t know who the Beatles are.
@@ramencurry6672 i wouldn't say no movie star - especially when there are some silhouettes that you couldn't miss, like dwayne johnson, for example. but yeah, it's definitely harder to be that distinguished. maybe for the best.

genuine question. if you were to see someone you've looked up to since you were little, would you stop them and ask for an autograph? or it better to leave them alone because it would an invasion of privacy or something?
i think it depends on the situation you were to catch them in. here, cate's trying to make it somewhere on time, so if she was stopped midway, i imagine it would be a bit stressful. you'd have to look out for closed off body language. she's totally avoiding the cameraperson here, and reasonably so. the approach would also be important. if you've ever seen those videos of her being mobbed by people who yell at her for her autograph likely just to sell it, that's a perfect example of what not to do.
