lots people block off coolant ports on intake and tap those ports for coolant to TB shut
Correct
Helps keep the TB cooler
the coolant passages are for rides in colder regions where heating up the TB is needed.
Awesome
Good luck this weekend and congrats!
Best wishes
thanks dan
Im excited to see vids of this driving!
I'm getting a V6 Camaro here soon, can't wait to do the same build! I'm also going to have the transmission turned into a stage 4 and put a custom cooler on it lol
He said "Pull the peacock" 😆🤣
Lol
I have to admit, I don't like the idea of sticking the IAT sensor in the coupler in that way. Even though you got a bracket made to keep it from blowing it out, there is still a chance of losing boost from that spot. There is however a bung that can be put into the actual charge piping instead of the coupler, to replace how the IAT sensor is secured. If I find a link to it, I will post it here for ya to at least check it out later. In the mean time, I hope that works for now. Your creativity is still a genius idea, and is still probably gonna work great. Just may have a boost leak at that location. If not, hell yeah, send her. Found the link 👇

Thanks definitely future plans for it
@@DeeStruggles no prob. I couldn't believe I got lucky enough to find the actual engine specific sensor with it. Totally gonna get one myself. I forwent on the turbo build idea for my Firebird. I decided to go SC. I have to fab up an intake tube, but that's not to hard.
