    You might also show fitting a mask on a person with long hair, because it's easy to wear it when you're a short haired or bald person. It's different when you have long hair and the straps tend to slide around. Women use these things too, you know.

      They Don't really test these on people, they just fit into a bald mannequin and they're like " yep! it's perfect!"....

      I used to put my hair in a loose ponytail, but it was hard to sleep with it. Last week I cut my hair short. With hearing aids, glasses and CPAP, there was juat too much going on.

    had used these masks for years. They used to have problem with the elastic stretching to the point where they needed to be replaced. ResMed "improved" the design with an adjustable strap. Good idea, lousy implementation. I have now had three units fail (just out of their 30-day warranty) where the elastic joins the plastic adjuster. One unit fail after only 4 night's use. This used to be a great product, now it is a total waste of money.

    There is no R or L on the pillows. I don't know if I reattached correctly after cleaning. Is there some other marking to tell me? Mine has a M on one side but that's for medium fit.

      @karyndobmeier5189 Hi do you have problems with air leakage out of your mouth? Even with a chin strap I do. Thanks. 🙂

    This doesn't explain how the nose pads are supposed to fit in the nose. Pointless video

    • @christinaduncan8285
      @christinaduncan8285 6 месяцев назад

      First, LOOK at the nose pad. Notice which SIDE of the nose pad has space for you to slide your thumb just underneath the nose pads. The other side will NOT have space for you to slide your thumb underneath the nose pads. The side that DOES have space for your thumb is the side that touches your face. Then after wrapping the straps around your head, it's just a matter of gently adjusting the nose pads to allow the most even flow of air into the nostrils. HOWEVER, before getting ready for bed, you want to make sure you nasal passage is clear. The best and fastest way to clear your nasal passage is by using Arm & Hammer Simply Saline nose spray, which is pure and clean and free of preservatives or anything harsh. Spray that into your nose, sniff it up high, and then blow your nose until the entire passage is clear. THEN put on the head strap as described above and carefully and gently get settled into bed.

      @@christinaduncan8285 I don't think that was Lin-Lin2559's question. Most people, me included, are confused on which of the 3 air pillow sizes we are supposed to use. With me, the medium size stays in place well but I get irritation on the inside of the nose. With the large size, I get less irritation but it doesn't stay in place as well. The real question is how should we determine which size of nasal pillow to used....should the pillow be slightly inside the nose or just pressed against the outside of it.

      @@CaneFuI had the same question . Seems like the most logical question that nobody here seems to want to answer. It’s kinda frustrating . I suppose we have to try all sizes like Goldilocks and the three bears. 😂

    • @CaneFu
      @CaneFu 2 месяца назад

      @@ebutawan I finally figured it out...I tried all 3 sizes and didn't feel like I was getting enough air through the medium. I then went with the large pillows and just tightened the head strap a bit more to hold it in place. I recommended using the largest size possible that you can get to stay in place. I have now completely switched over from the full face mask to the nasal pillows and it is working great.

    Worst video ever . Is the patient lying in bed ready for use? NO. Is the patient self installing the mask ? NO there is a man conveniently standing in front of a chair putting the mask over his head . Is the patient involved in the use of the mask in this video ? NO. Fail !
