I am here because I never saw this gambit in my life and I was completely destroyed despite being a decently strong player who won many tournaments. Thanks for the info in case I run into this again.
The ideas are made so clear and simple in this video that I never have trouble facing this gambit. Always think of you Mio every time I butcher black for playing this.
Thanks for these videos. When do you plan on uploading a lecture on "how to use the bishop pair"? Would love to watch that one. You keep mentioning in your videos how much of an advantage it is, which l've read in many books - but would really appreciate seeing a little more in depth instruction on this topic.
There is a great example in Chernev's book on 60 instructive endgames, where Chernev discusses a beautiful endgame win of Capablanca based purely on the B-pair. Really clear.
jmatthew Thanks a lot and I will certainly do bishop pair advantage and how to take advantage of it, but at the moment focus is on different openings and at some point we will switch to middlegame parts! Thanks for watching!
Great job! But il seems that 3...Qe7 is the most playable line and after 4.d4 f6 5.Nd3 Qxe4 6 Be2 instead of 6...Qxg2 That you give Black can play 6...Qxd4!? with some difficult position to asset after maybe 7.Be3 or 0-0. What do you think? Thanks a lot for this video!
Thanks on question Djaffer! 6...Qd4 brings nothing good to black, since after Nc3, 0-0 and Be3 white has amazing initiative and way better developement!
Thanks for the answer Miodrag ! It seems thant that the Black can get some pratical chance of playable game After 5....Qxe4 6.Be2 by 6... Bd6 Nc3 (6.0-0 Qxd4 works maybe a little) Qxg2 7.Bf3 Qh3 8.Nxd5 Nc6 or 6.Be3 Bg4 or c6 with some level game finally...
Hey Djafer! The game cant be equal at all in that line after 7. Bf3 Qh3 8. Nd5 Nc6 since White has 9. N3f4 and full initiative, Black has exposed Queen, weak light squares and is seriously behind in development!
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial yes! And after 9.Nd5 Qe6 10.Kd2! the Withe get the plus but maybe with some chances for Black to make the things unclear like a really Elefant gambitter look for and sometimes succeed to get!
I just lost on a Daily match by a lower rated opponent because i never faced that before, in the middle game i think i played well, but still it was an unusual game for me which i messed up in the end
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial yeah and i said Daily match because usually i play really good on that format, but i think your tutorial is helping a lot to refute that elephant! Thank you.
NFMPivotMadnessXD Dont get me wrong, all those files: Chessbrah ones and these ones here, were free for more than 2 years (Chessbrah) and these ones on my channel were free for more than 6 months, although, due to big number of requests and lack of donations, I had to start charging them, since I have to pay a guy who helps me in editing videos...
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial I understand that too, my commentary was ironic. It's a horrible Americanisation to refer to the opponent as "they". It should be avoided at all costs. Much better to just say Black or White, in the singular.
Fault: you are not showing the possibilities visually, but you are speaking about them /the situation by the beginning of the video/. For somebody who doesn´t know well English - disadvantage. Better than you is for example GJ /chess/.

A black player just tried to trick me with this gambit today. Your video helped me a lot to checkmate him. Thanks!

Lecture is clear and precise..more videos!..thank you!
no words for this video, all lines are analysed beautifully.
👍

Thanks and yeah that’s why you should learn suspicious gambits and how to kill them!

Nick Mason Thanks big Nickolai! Good luck in Aeroflot tourney!
Great video, but could you do a lesson how to use the bishop pair, because you kept mentioning it but didn't show any example. Thanks in advance!

can you do a video for Scandinavian defense ? thanks in advance
the line with 4...Qg5 eds with a cliffhanger. what does white do about Qxh2 and the rook is threatened
Qh5 probably
Bishop g5+ followed by Queen h5 is +7 for white
Clear!!!
Francois Chevalier Thanks Francois :)
mio magic is back again..
sumit rathod Thanks for that Magic thing :) Keep watching and commenting!
Thank youuuu
Welcomeeeeee 😉

Djaffer salim I have better line for you if you want that with Black 💪😉
2:28 what if Nxf6 and then take the rook by exchanging the white square bishop?
Your knight will be trapped, so it will be two pieces for a rook and pawn, not good.
what if they go Be6 after exd4?
1:05 Damiano Opening?

Miodrag Perunovic Coach Mio is such a nice guy!
No no, Nxe5 is not that good. exd5 is better and players should play this move.
Make a video on that!
