It is sad that Ravish has to give clarification on taking his kids for travelling. I think it's THE BEST KIND OF PARENTING. No school/book in the world can teach what he and wife taught his kids through travelling - the experience, sensory overload, interacting with new people, seeing new processes. I think with this kids are becoming smarter and bookish education they can anyway cover up once they are back. Kudos Ravish, you're doing a great job ✌️😄

Totally agree. Kids will be alot more mature due to the experience and great bonding with the parents. This is the time for them to travel with the parents soon they will grow up and will want to explore on their own.
I was going to add a similar comment. But I think you have covered everything! I also noticed that the kids were reading in their free time. Which is again a great habit!

Honestly, they have been so great on all the trips, I’m sure there must have been tantrums and all which is a normal part of life but they did so good! Well done Sam and Chiku! Maine be Airalo use kiya tha on one phone had amazing connectivity, even after whastapp video calls, status updates almost 4-5gb hi use hua tha, and ek phone pe airtel roaming on kr liya tha so that bank ya credit card k otps atey rhein.
So any Indian traveler, worrying about that Airtel chalega ya nai.. bohot badhiya chalega.

Hi Ravish, If you can give some ideas about the Vegetarian food availability (takeaways or restaurants not the frozen food) in Switzerland, Iceland or any of your future trips it would really help.

Inspires us to travel next year before the kids turn 12 🙏🙏🙏 when u travel aus-nz, u might find a similar pattern, a lot of European influence here with shops closing by 5pm even in major cities but supermarkets available in major train stations until 10 pm, although the train connectivity is not great in nz, cars are a must, most of them travel by motor homes too 🙂 dec-mar best time to travel. Nz is very safe. wondering why u guys did not cover Italy? Assuming it's a close location. My brother got badly robbed in Greece, so agree about certain places not being safe 👍

Question, living in Canada, would you use Airalo when going to the USA or use the Canadian carriers US roaming feature which goes for roughly $12 a day?
I have used both, but i find $12 per day to be quite expensive if you are staying for a long time like a month or more, but prefer Airalo for cheap data.

Taking 1st class in the Switzerland train would give better view or 2nd class will Also work. Reason for asking is price for 1st class is high.

12:15 Also to add, you cannot anyway take car to Jungfraujoch and Zermatt. I drove in Switzerland for 2 days (Zurich, Interlaken, Lucerne) and missed all the views. After interlaken we dropped the car, and then I enjoyed the journey :)
Although this is only for Switzerland where public transport reaches every point. There is beautiful southern alps range in Italy named "Dolomites". To travel there, you do need a car.
Italy is bad for pickpocketing, I had caught two people red handed trying to steal my wallet and then from my bag on other ocassion. Then I saw many tourists had bags either in hand and small bags facing chest (so no one can steal something).
