It felt, that 2nd house was Ranch Style i.e all rooms at main floor with just a loft or occasionally 1 addnl room at upper floor. Generally 55+ communities will have Ranch Style. Just in case that matters to ur house search here

Southern state of USA most companies built-in like this. Specially in Florida. We live in New Jersey but have house in Florida also best community.

I have a suggestion.. Pineville is in south Charlotte I think you should explore in the North Charlotte too specifically North lake area a wonderful place you will definitely love that place.. you may also explore uptown Charlotte

Hope you guys bought home in Raleigh area. Moved here 8 years back from Bay area and loving this place. (Morrisville where 26% of population is Indians and richest town in NC)

Mattamy housing has same communities in calgary
Mahogany cityscape. They have same community centres for detached houses 🏡. Calgary housing community are declared as best in canada with reasonable house prices. Regards ravish ji

Ravish community centres are everywhere in the housing community in Canada for booking parties and other small events too such as the Breslau community centre etc
yes, there are community centers in ontario too, but i haven't seen gated communities in GTA, that have gym/swimming pool and similar features only for residents of gated communities.

You made a video on Canada versus US and living in both countries. Do you think it makes sense to live in US over Canada giving the housing market issues in Toronto with GTA and the weather conditions. Financial career growth also seems to be more promising down there.

Gta market is crazy and think beyond gta.If you can have us passport or pr then yeah you can think of us.
it's a personal preference and financial situation of an individual. but both countries have their own pros and cons. for schooling there are a lot of options available now in terms of online classes.
I hv worked and lived in both places, US is overall better for career growth and value. Canada is amazing, however pay is capped unless one is a leetcode god or super dev.. and the weather sucks giving depression…
Snowbird is best of both worlds but with kids i would like to know my options- nt everyone can afford private schools.

Check out Fort Mill and Indian Land in South Carolina area next door to Pineville. Half of the people working in CLT live in SC (lower tax and gas price). Great schools and communities, you can Airbnb or rent it out here and will give a good return in long run. Although prices have gone crazy high for last one year from Carolinas standard, 420k would have been easily around 300k+! Although, if you want your kid to attend NC University, then having a residence there would make sense since they will have advantage of lower tuition fees for in-state resident..

Charlotte is developed and suburbs are developing. It’s also considered as financial hub of south. It’s also a home to American Airlines. Nashville , Atlanta and other major Cities are 3-4 hours away. I personally liked Charlotte. Raleigh is good but mostly not so happening like Charlotte.

The community centre is available in most of the communities in Canada. Maybe it's just not available in GTA but I live in Ottawa and we have a community centre in Almost all the communities here and including Gym, tennis court and swimming pool. :)
Yes there are city community Centers in GTA too. But i haven’t seen gated housing communities with 100 or so houses where only residents of that community can use amenities. That is in Condos not in detached housing communities
