The lineage of Jesus shows us that His kingdom would be unlike any other. Through Christ, the dividing wall of hostility was torn down. We once retreated to the safety of homogeny. But Christ has brought together people from every tribe, tongue, and nation into a blessed unity.
We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Rahab was not a Canaanite Matthew 1:1-5 shows the lineage of Jesus. He was from the tribe of Judah. Therefore a clean lineage *Rahab was the mother of Boaz.

Nations/Gentile is goy in Hebrew. Goy is nations or gentiles. The seed of Abraham is what the scriptures are talking about here. The two nations-Northern Tribe and the Southern Tribe of Judah. Gentiles which you are referring to are the lost ten tribes. Sorry Matt can’t accept this as Gods words. The Bible is clear who the people are that God chose. We are a peculiar people. The seed of Abraham.
