Budget clack machine, insane value for the 3k price tag coming in fully built. And as a gmk67 owner the removal of the led on the arrow key blocker is better aesthetically on the rakk pirah plus.
FYI, variants of the GMK67 in different regions released it with VIA compatibility. Malaysia being the first I saw, forget the model off the top of my head (they even added PCB mounted stabs). And the Epomaker model released a VIA barebones over a month ago.
going from outemu switches to outemu switches (akko v3 are outemu) and both with the same material combination is a little funny, but the color combination of the case looks quite good there with the side profile
Rakk don't want to sell keybs without a switch, that's why there's still an outemu red switch out of the box so that the user can use it right away. This is better than BB as an option.
I get you, having the board pre-built and ready to use already does make it a nice choice for anyone to use it right away, but I wouldn't say Rakk is opposed to the idea of selling barebones kits. I mean, If "Rakk don't want to sell keybs without a switch" why is there a Rakk Lam-Ang Pro Max barebones kit as an option then? :)
Does bluetooth mode still has that annoying sleep feature? My Rakk Pluma sleeps after 5-10 secs of inactivity, needing to press a key to wake it up before using it. People say that it's to save battery but it's just annoying having to double press the first key when typing.
Oh my god those outemu reds sound horrible lol. For a product marketed to be an out of the box experience, spending just a bit more to put in better switches could make this board very worth it. I also don't get companies who put in "factory lubed" stabilizers that aren't even done well - The whole point of lubbing stabilizers is to remove the rattling and ticking and this was not achieved here. Anyways, looks like fun DIY project because your own config definitely sounds way better.
I mean its 60 usd bro. For a board to include that much foam and poron, and even an alternative colored housing that's pretty solid, not to mention it's via compatible with a PC plate. Outemo reds almost always sound bad anyway, and the stabs arent that bad they're just badly lubed, probably not balanced too seem to rattle a ton
hello! what mods can i do with this keyboard considering this already has alot of inclusions? like can i still do tape mod or is it not recommended? thanks
Upon checking with Rakk, there aren't any plans for a barebones kit. But that really isn't a problem because you're basically paying the price of a barebones and getting free stuff by going for this instead of a normal GMK67 hehe.
Dude ngl. Rakk has been killin it recently.
True, they have good keyboard and mouse's already. Only thing left is an actual good headset/earphone.

Getting a lot for that price. Will probably my new travel keyboard
insane for the 3k price point. This will definitely be my go to recommendation to my friends if they're looking for this form factor

Could you comment here once you recall the model? Malaysian here too, would love to check it out.

One question, where could I buy the Osume keycaps? I plan to get it on Christmas or on my birthday next year :D
You can search for their website. I think they will be restocking few keycaps this August.
@@lime_ow thank you!
Should I get this or leobog hi75? I don't really mind the layout, but I've been looking into both a lot.

Planning to switch from RK61 plus to pirah plus will it be worth it?
Most definitely! The sound and feel will be night and day from the Rk61
Where is the json file? would this work with a stock GMK67 or could the firmware be flashed?
gmk67 is not via compatible, so you can't use the file for the pirah plus
@@iangalvez2236 yeah, I just thought if it was based on the same chip as the gmk67 the firmware could be ported.

Tape mod is still possible :)
Other than that, doesn't really need any other mods to sound good.

Alright my 3k going down by end of August 😅
