    It was pointed out to me that the question mark was backwards. Sad to say I flipped the image for the opposite arm and while I flipped the other words I completely missed the question mark on the tie. Another lesson in Attention to ALL the details. Thanks for watching everyone and thank you SOO much for all the support!🤘🤘🙏🙏🤘🤘

      It happens I've been tattooing for around 35 years now and I've had stuff like that happen more then once, you try to hurry cause you don't want the guy just sitting around waiting on you and sometimes you miss little things like that it happens to us all. Great tattoo and good video work.

    Awesome job, looks amazing! I do have a question though, how do you get white to stay in the skin?? I have Dynamic White Extra White & regular Dynamic White and I cant seem to get the skin to take either. No matter how I tattoo the white, different needles etc., it always bleeds and the white never saturates the skin. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks.

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад +1

      White is a tricky one and is hard to explain via words or text. I will say the white you use makes a difference that is for sure. I have really been enjoying Star brite white. I would suggest giving them a try and see if that helps. Also it seems to me that dots and lines seem to hold up the best when it comes to putting white in.

    • @Techjunkie51

    So how quick can you go back into a tattoo to finish/add more? Do you not have to let it heal all the way if it’s just the next day? Or do you have to wait the month or few weeks to go back in.

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад

      At this point I would wait a month for it to heal then go back in if it needs touched up or what not.

    Great job Dave! Quick question. How do you get such a detailed stencil to stay detailed? Evertime I have a detailed stencil, overtime it tends to "bleed", for lack of a better word, and create a big blue/purple mess. I use speedstick to apply my stencils and it seems no matter how much I use I end up with this problem.

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад +2

      First off I wouldnt use a speed stick, while it works it just doesnt work well as you have found. I used stencil stuff for along time and really liked that but I have switched to Anchored and really like how it holds. Best advice is apply the solution and keep rubbing it in until its just a little tacky not very wet at all. Then apply stencil, push stencil down hold for a few seconds then take stencil paper off skin. The next step is VERY important and that is to let it dry for about 15 min. I have a video all about this on the channel but I hope this helps.

    • @ArtSomething

      I used the CNCQ2 for a while and its a great machine but I switched to bishop. So I use the bishop wand shader for shading and the bishop wand packer for packing color and lining.

    I got some questions for the more experienced artists on here. I’m new at this. Like 3 months in and although my line work already looks like I’ve been doing it for quite some time I’m running into some very discouraging problems with shading, and color packing. My color looks beautiful and bold upon completion but after it heals it’s blotchy and inconsistent as shit (yes it’s on my own leg) and I’m not sure if the throw of my needle is too shallow or what but also afraid to go too deep in fear of blowing something out. Can anyone help with some questions please??

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад

      More the likely you are not putting the ink deep enough into the skin and are more then likely moving to fast at the same time. Put the needles a bit deeper and slow your hand down and that should solve the problem. Remember it may still take a few attempts until you get the feel for it but keep at it.🤘

    • @KingRagnar664
      @KingRagnar664 2 года назад

      @@ArtSomething alright thank you. I’ll apply what you said and see how it goes. It’s just strange because while I’m doing it it looks like it’s in there nice and solid and looks great but after the skin flakes off (fortunate there’s been no heavy scabbing) (besides with red ink for some reason) it’s real pale, blotchy and not in there at all. So I’ll try what you mentioned and see what happens.
