Fact: Clinical psychologist and Inside Out 2 consultant Lisa Damour says the movie is surprisingly accurate when it comes to experiencing anxiety and puberty. Particularly, Damour notes that, as in the film, clinicians see anxiety as an important member of the larger team of emotions.
Such an accurate depiction of an anxiety attack. Its genius to have every bad memory, ever "mistake", suddenly come (literally) flooding in. Thats what it feels like, and I've never seen someone so perfectly reflect the feeling in imagery. This is in my top 10 favorite, and surpassed the original imo.
Emotions are the end result of an evolutionary run to survival. Unfortunately, evolution wasn't prepared for the extra-long lifespan and modern, non-predator-filled society we have now. That means that, while every emotion is important and has a legitimate reason for existing, the reasons they have for existing are not as immediately life-threatening as they were back in the tribal days. Emotions should never be bottled up, but they do need to be understood, accepted, and controlled.

38:00 This scene made me cry because it is a beautifully simple representation of such a complex idea: building an identity for yourself that is not true to who and what you are. Some part of you will know and will reject it, and the way forward is to embrace everything, love yourself in all your complexity, the good and bad moments, and realize you're a person, and that makes you good enough.
