😊💕I had the best experience ever. Friends of mine did not have a working clothing washer or dryer, SO I BOUGHT THEM ONE OF EACH. It was so much fun. They are a family of 7. You can't out give God. Be generous folks.💕😊
The laundromat guy will be so delighted with the gift you are giving, as someone who works with the public everyday to even receive a bar of chocolate as a thank you means the world to me, it is lovely to feel appreciated ❤

My favorite uncle, uncle Harry, sadly died 2 years ago of stomach cancer, at age 55. 😢 as sick as he was, he planted tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, onions, and garlic for all of us in the family. I put tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and cucumber, with some garlic, as a vegetable salad, which I called, "Uncle Harry Salad!" I miss you, Harry. 😢

Dad Dougherty had a great idea of having a tent inside the house. My father always pitched a tent in our living room on special occasions.
I would set up the tent in the back yard for sleepovers on warm summer nights and it was so nice to leave our own little space away from my sisters!
You are such a very thoughtful person. It's the little things people appreciate.

I’m surprised when people don’t place the meat packages in bags. It’s unsanitary when the juices leak in the cart and checkout counter.
In Switzerland we don‘t do that🤷🏻♀️
@jelena313 MOST people in the United States do not do it. It's not every time you get meat that the juices are coming out of it. It's actually more unusual for that to happen. At least from most grocery stores that I shop at, which are common grocery stores in the United States, it doesn't happen with. And some of these grocery stores I get meat from they are cutting, grinding, and packaging it in the back of the store. But some people will literally put every single package of meat they get into one of the plastic bags, some ppl will even put bacon and sausage links that come from Johnsonville company in one of those types of bags. Those are definitely not leaking. It's just a waste of plastic as well as kind of silly. If it's leaking, obviously common sense will tell you to put it in a bag😅
@@feliciar2773 it depends now. Where I'm at people use the bags. Trays are thin. Poultry pork chops usually get bagged.
I was about to say what supermarket do you shop at as we don't get leaks here either in nz

I'm so with Zoey! I love her sense of humor. I think one night of veggie lasagna (although I don"t think Zoey is a veggie girl), a pizza lasagna, a stroganoff lasagna, a seafood lasagna, ground turkey lasgna, hmmm maybe a few more varieties. Yum.
SWEET CORN CASSEROLE
Pre- heat oven 375*. Oil 8 × 8 pan.
1 Box 5oz. Jiffy Cornbread Muffin Mix
1 Can Creamed Corn (15oz)
1 Can whole Corn drained (15oz)
1/2 Cup melted butter
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
Optional:
1/2 Cup Pickled Jalapenos or fresh
1 Cup Sour Cream in place of butter.
Stir all together until just mix.
Make sprinkle additional cheese on top. Place in pan and bake 45 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.
My family loves this as a side with different meals.

I used the Jiffy cake mix and you put one can of any fruit flavoring you like in a small pan poor Jiffy cake mix evenly over the top. Then one stick of butter evenly poured over the top, do not stir pop in the oven for 350 for like 25 or 30 minutes. It's a Wonderful super easy fruit dump cake. Of course you would need about six or eight cans of fruit and 6 or 8 Jiffy box cakes and six or eight sticks of butter. LOL it is delicious my favorite is BlackBerry or blueberry pie filling. Enjoy❤❤❤

Hormel Chili, with/out beans, whatever you like! Add blocks of Cream Cheese to taste. I do two small cans to roughly 1.5 blocks of Cream Cheese. It melts faster if its cubed! I know you will need a lot more but Im sure the real recipe is online:) You can use "Veeta"😂. you could try half Veeta, the other pot with cream cheese, see which everyone prefers. If I do one type/ kind I just do it in the crockpot and people can laddle it into a bowl and the rest can stay on warm setting. Serve with tortilla chips, Fritos, my favs! The kiddos might like it since kiddos seem to enjoy dipping their foods in something else. If its too bland, add your favorite hot sauce in your own bowl:) I think you and the family would enjoy it😊 I will also just do the chili, sprinkle cheddar or your favorite cheese, melt on top, eat with Fritos or Tostitos❤
My sons birthday is September in Indiana and he always wants an outdoor party playing football 🏈 the boys don’t care if it’s raining, snowing, or sunny they play just the same so it will work out great! You can make a really good corn casserole out of corn bread, cream corn, a little sugar, sour cream, and butter! Some people like to add jalapeños and cheese but we love the sweet corn casserole ❤

I don't know how you stay so organized. I can't remember my grocery list even in my hand. I also can't believe why some people think they can tell you you can't have lasagna every night. I know it was a joke, but, you know your family and if that's what thay had absolutely wanted, then that's what I would do. I don't force my kids to eat what they don't like because I don't eat anything I don't like. Wow!! You're amazing 😊❤

You should make a proper Greek salad with your tomatoes and cucumbers! It’s literally just tomatoes, cucumbers (onions are optional), oregano, EVOO and feta cheese and you could add a protein too! So yummy. Edit: oh! And you could most definitely add black olives 🫶🏼

And my favorite salads are either Greek salads or antipasto salads!
I lived in Greece while studying abroad and onions are a must on a true Greek Salad. Red onions, cucumbers, tomatoes with salt and a pinch or two of oregano. Kalamata olives and feta are optional but usually added.
I’m excited for some ideas and making my grocery list for the next few weeks.. Even though I’m older and alone, you give me ideas and the motivation I need to cook and have good food on hand!!

Canned chicken breast works good in the Buffalo chicken dip as well!
You should also get the Zicam gummies for the smaller children. It REALLY does shorten colds and makes them less severe!

Regarding Bodhi and his love for Horror type stuff, its Fiction and its no diffrent than kids in the 90's that read Goosebumps, or 80's kids watching He Man or thunder cats. My 12 year old likes five nights at Freddy's and someone recently came at me for it. "Put your blinker on sis and get back in your lane", thats my child and she understands its fake and entertainment only. She also reads her jr bible devotional every night before bed and has a beautiful soul.

THIS!!! She is feeding EIGHT boys, Josh, friends, guests! The boys being so active in sports, if they ate all day they would still feel hungry😂 And, the littles love their munchies! Some kiddos will have extra helpings of their favorites so that can throw estimating off! She knows how to feed a big hungry bunch!
As a pro-chef, Mothers Day brunch was 1200-1500 people! Thanksgiving was also a trip😂 Even as schooled pros, we were always scrambling to make more of this or that all day long! If we cant guess correctly, who can? Alicia does amazing! So do you, cooking for 100 is a huge deal, even 50 is a lot! Good job to you, too❤! I can almost taste homegrown tomato’s I miss them so much since I had Covid I became allergic to them . I would be using them to make our homemade spaghetti sauce which I still make . I had never had homemade spaghetti sauce before I married my husband but that is all he knew so I learned to make his moms sauce . Have a great week Dougherty family

I live in Michigan retired. I go on my phone and order my groceries I order my usual stuff early then cliser to pick up date I go thru sale as and when all is done I check my list and choose a pickup time. Then I just have to put an average of 650.00 worth if groceries away. Pick up is a great idea I hope it never goes away.
Lol I am 66 and Haven't used pickup yet...my daughter in law does and she loves it!! I'll have to get with the program and try it!!!
Many grocery stores sell their fresh pizza dough for around $2.00, give to take. Have you tried it?

I remember very clearly here in the Corning area. One Halloween when it snowed like hack. And my husband was in the fire department. And so is mama and I and his little sister hung out and bunk together during all of that, while he pretty much stayed at the fire station because there was call after call and his dad worked for the local city DPW, so he was working nights doing snowy mobile stuff. Yeah, it was not fun, it was cralso. Is there some place that you guys have? That like is an indoor place? I could do sports stuff like laser tag and stuff. Like that?
Is there is a gym somewhere you could reserve for the twins birthday? They could play inside sports for the birthday party and not worry about the weather.

When I go to more than one grocery store I typically use these insulated grocery bags I have an ice packs to put my meat and salads in or bring a cooler. But in your case you would have to have five giant coolers LOL so I guess that's hard for you to do.
