When I was younger, we always waited until after thanksgiving before doing anything christmas related. Now that I am older, it starts earlier and earlier each year. Christmas makes me so happy!
Lol! I’m the same way. Growing up I always remember it being after thanksgiving… now that it’s my house it’s so fun doing it earlier. ☺️
I love the Christmas time feels!! I always decorate right after Halloween just because it makes my family so happy! Plus this year our little one is due the beginning of December so I wouldn’t have energy to wait till then!

It use to be that everyone started decorating for Christmas in late November or early December. But lately it seems as tho everyone wants to decorate right after Halloween. I'm not sure why this is happening but I think it is weird. Christmas is after Thanksgiving so I think we should be waiting to decorate in late Nov.

Beautiful! I'm interested in more info on your woodstove - I am looking at doing the same thing. What size and model is yours and did you have to install a heat barrier behind it?
Hi there! I would love to help you out with any info that I can. I know different states have different requirements so you definitely want to make sure you go with a trusted company to install it… and they can give you all the details for your specific area and stove. also I would get quotes from several different people as we had quotes from people for lower quality stoves for more than double the price. As for the heat barrier… the stove we went with in our area had very tight clearances and didn’t require a heat barrier. It’s amazing how cool the sides are but how much heat it gives off… the top still has plenty of heat to cook on. We went with the Pacific Energy Vista. It is a small stove that heats up to 1,500 sq ft. ☺️
