- This is the new 2024 Cadillac CT4 in the Luxury trim level. This CT4 comes in black raven on jet black leatherette interior. The powertrain consists of a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features of this CT4 Luxury includes Bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features of this particular vehicle include heated front seats, a navigation system, power sunroof, and premium Bose sound system.

There is something about Cadillac that I cannot ignore, specifically when they are in black color
Now that's a perfect 2024 Cadillac CT4 Luxury car that I will purchase for my Future Wife and then I will purchase the Cadillac Escalade V to go right along with the rest of my Future Luxury Car collection and now that is the right car for a businessman. I'm in the market looking at a very similar model of this particular car. I wanted to shout out and say how much I appreciate the in depth look and commentary. The Blackwing would be the dream car but this one seems very affordable for what you are getting. Great video!

Its pretty hard to beat 38k for a Caddy in this day. As long as the kids have small ft lol!
The way you buy this is base model at 35k, go into dealer and pay 32k that would put it against Jetta Gli/ Gti Mazda 3 or Civic Touring or base Audi a3... Now we are talking. This is not a competitor with C class or 3 series they are way more money for a base model way over 40k... has everything you need !!! This is ideal for someone without Kids , you do not want a Camaro or Mustang.. something more grown up and mature and more practicality for your everyday car... Nice review... 17 inch wheels and tires with 45 sidewall is a benefit folks better ride quality!! Dont get the sunroof package waste of money! 32k or less is the goal... This is the worst selling slowest selling vehicle in all of Gms lineup!!!!!! Be flexible with Color and Base model and our little secret of a buy!
I am surprised the hwy mpg drops back down to 32 for the 2024. It was 34 mpg for the 2023. 3:54
I believe it’s because of the tires & also some of these CT4s are AWD vs just RWD. Could be the difference you saw.

I wish GM will EXCLUDE Cadillac from parts sharing with other GM products. There is too much Malibu in this Cadillac. I know it's a cost savings decision but still....
I thought that as well, as an owner of a 2023 Malibu. This car actually has more in common with a Camaro than a Malibu Strangely enough. I will most likely be replacing my Malibu with an entry level CT4 when it comes time to trade around 2025. Plus a longer warranty than a Malibu, larger engine, actual auto instead of CVT, RWD as opposed to FWD. this car is just a tad smaller, but feels much more nimble and refunded than my Malibu does. I think value for dollar, this one wins.
For 38k very nice, good looking car as well.

How reliable is the Base Model 2.0 turbo engine overall and transmission?
Not 100% sure. Haven't heard too much about them honestly.
Gym did have a problem with their 8 speed auto transmissions but has since been corrected. The turbo engine is great, a little turbo lag though, but not much
Why would one use the "brake hold"?
You can take your foot off the brake at red lights.

Comparison. This is rear drive. Who do you compare it to? I just bought, not leased or financed, a 24' CT4 Sport with the Onyx Package and other upgrades. In this segment tell me, as my 68' old mind eludes me, who compares? You'll have to look to Europe not the USA )-;
Audi a4, bmw 3 series, no more American competition since Lincoln axed the mkz. 😔
