Such a shame that this wonderful tribute to an absolute comedic genius has so few views. Fact Felix Dexter was never a huge British comedy star is a reflection there is an intrinsic unfairness & unjust element in British entertainment.
I was introduced to Felix by a friend who shared his darker hue 😁. I always thought he was a genius and it was racism that held him back. The higher-ups in TV just weren't ready for a black man to have a one man show. That he never made that plain, spoke of the man's dignity.
Aw man... I'm not British, I only really knew him from series 5 of Absolutely Fabulous, but I thought he was a real standout there, making a big impact with relatively little screen time in a show dominated by some of the best performances in sitcom history. Really sorry to learn many years later that he died way too young.
The BBC had this genius in their stables and didn’t do enough, it’s that simple. I think in the BBC execs eyes they already had their black star in the form of Lenry Henry which I respect however they weren’t prepared to let another black genius truly shine because that box was already well and truly ticked. RIP Felix Dexter
Thank you so much for uploading this. I think Felix Dexter first came to light for me with The Real McCoy and especially Nathaniel. Spotted him over and over again through the years and he always stood out as a remarkable comedian and actor. This was a good tribute and I'm grateful to have had the chance to watch it!

Saw him live many times when I lived in London. Such a versatile & funny guy.
Met Felix a couple times and he was a real humble sweet guy. I'm glad that this documentary has highlighted his amazing talent and great legacy.
