    Congratulations to you both.
I’m so sorry they sent Casey home like that, here we would never imagine asking a birthing partner to leave. That’s traumatic and very sad.

So sad to hear Casey had to go home and you had so much pain. The midwife seems harsh telling you to be quiet. I’m 19 weeks now and it’s bringing it all back! Glad you’re all ok now xxx

Yous are so lucky to have had 3 healthy babies. My first baby passed due to a missed miscarriage. Our second baby, Belle I went into labour at 16 weeks and had to get my cervix stitched. I was then admitted at 22+4 weeks and gave birth at 23+2 weeks and our beautiful Belle passed away at 10 days old. Our third baby, Myah. I had to have my cervix stitched - a planned one at 12 weeks and then she was breech. Had to get an extended c section and she swallowed meconium and had to go to the special care unit. She is 1 now and doing well thank goodness. So many people take it for granted, whilst others go through a lot.
Not to mention that our daughter Belle was born in the peak of Covid. My husband couldn’t be there until the last minute and when we would visit her daily in NICU we couldn’t go home and go back- so once a day we could see her. Her grandparents only got to meet her on the night she passed away. My mum held Belle as she passed and my sister didn’t get to meet Belle until she passed

I’m a student midwife at this hospital, I always find it so harsh sending the birth partners home… I try to avoid it sooo bad 😅

Your story is super similar to mine Iv also just had my 3rd but wasn’t induced but I did get sent home because my cervix wasn’t dilated enough but I was in agony , tried to get an epidural Iv never had one before but the 3rd baby just felt more painful so I asked for it and they couldn’t get my veins in time! Also dilated from 0-10 within a hour too these 3rd baby’s are sore 😂 if he was my 1st I wouldn’t of had anymore

I find it so strange Casey had to leave during induction. I’m a student midwife and when a woman is being induced the birth partner can stay until baby’s being born! Sorry you had to be alone! Also it’s awful you didn’t get the birth that you planned/wanted. But you did it and you are amazing. Congratulations on your beautiful healthy baby❤️Xxx

Its weird that they send Casey home, I gave birth in March and my husband were allowed to stay all night until the baby was born 🤔🤔 we live in Milton Keynes

I know your feeling not being able to have pain relief and screaming the word down 😂I had my little boy June 2021 he was (8 weeks early) I was in slow labour for 3days, when I got to the hospital I was 4cm dilated they told my my partner had to go and come back, he went home and when I rung him to say I was 8cm he left to come to the hospital, I had already given birth to my son before he got there 😂 sorry to go blabbing on I loved this video❤

I have always heard being induced makes labor so much worse. Each one of my births were different. I was the same as you with the last one. I ended up having a c-section though. Hubby said nope no more kids.

sounds to me like the nurses & doctors on the labour ward this birth weren’t very good at all. the way they treated you was absolutely awful.
