Presented here in OBSIDIAN BLACK METALLIC with a MB Tex interior and is stickered at $96,540
Powered by an AMG Hand-crafted 3.0L inline-6 turbo with EQ Boost producing 429 hp / 384 lb ft or torque and it has the Eco start/stop feature. The lightweight, fully beltless engine is also electrified: An Integrated Starter-Generator can supply up to 21 hp and 184 lb-ft at certain rpm, allow gas-free coasting, and recapture energy during deceleration. And the Integrated Starter-Generator teams with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, plus a power supply for formerly belt-driven components like the water pump and air-conditioning compressor. Its driven by an AMG Speedshift TCT 9-Speed Transmission.

My understanding is when you start the car, if you push in on one of the manual paddles the engine sound sounds more aggressive.

I love this car. what are the downsides or possible problems to expect as a result of the EQ boost system and the new electronics in the car?
Good questions. Both the EQ Boost and MBUX Systems are fairly new but the technology behind both have been around for several years. Mercedes-Benz has always been on the cutting edge for safety and technology so I’m sure they’ve done their testing and homework on proving these systems. Thanks for watching

I want to have one of these GLE AMG 53 coupe model, but one of my friends is trying to convince me to get the Non-AMG regular GLE.
To be honest I loved both after trying them. This looks much better and have more enjoyable ride. The regular however, is more comfortable and feels really smooth on the roads.

Mine is coming from Maryland as we speak. It will cost me a total of 104K. My 2022 I could not get the red seatbelts or the massage seats due to the computer chip issues and covic. I'm not that impressed by the backseat controls or lack there off for the heat and stuff. It's just two vents and nothing else and I'm paying over $100,000 for my car I've seen better for the vent heat/cool controls just saying. A lot lackluster and I'm keeping it real.
