Very interesting and I have put decals on before but I like your idea better.
Love your hinge method. Why didn’t I think of that. Thanks for sharing. One thing I noticed prior to your placing the vinyl is the cup hadn’t been alcoholed. Even tho most people know to do that first there are newbys watching and learning. Just thought I’d mention that. Your videos are watchworthy. I always learn something.

I have just started to use my cricut explore air, I purchased my machine 5 years ago and couldn’t figure out how to use it and I decided last year that I was gonna make it work. I will try this very soon. (I use that hinge method for applying 2-sided adhesive to paperstock for card making, so it makes perfect sense.) Going to go check out your other vids. :-)
I find placing a paint bottle under the handle helps keep the mug straight & from rolling around. Great video

Thanks for all the helpful information. Do you know can you do a double-cut on portions of a cut. For example, if you just wanted it to recut your "coffee" word, is that possible?

Positioning mat size stencils is very easy for me. Do you happen to have any tips/tricks to position vinyl stencils that are larger than the mat? This is what I have more trouble with.

Nope! No extra precautions! I wash all my mugs with vinyl on the top rack and they hold up great. I just make sure not to soak them :)

What do you mean by double cut? When you recut your vinyl
Before you unload your mat from your machine, you can click the cricut C button and cut your image again! It’ll recut it in the exact same spot :)

No polishing needed!
I noticed you didn’t wipe the cup with alcohol before applying the vinyl. Is that necessary? I’ve seen it done in other videos.
I just make sure my cups are clean! Wiping the cup clean with alcohol is always a good idea!

I put mine in the dishwasher on the top rack. They are not microwave safe.
How we can use self adhesive vinyl on cards
Yes!
I heard you say the wood gets sealed, not the vinyl. If making corn hole boards with vinyl, can we add additional layers over the top of the vinyl to make it more weatherproof?
Yes! You can coat it with some polycrylic! That'll weatherproof it!
Can you make face mask from this machine ?
Yes!
Just a hint...please don't use white. It is impossible to see
