Yes, everyone has a choice to be committed or not be, but the show producers and directors purposely had these strangers live together for three weeks. What do you think would happened? April is the most genuine of the lot. She was hurting a lot and in pain. Rae and Jake were all confused about each other. Rae is with Zay then with Jake then back to Zay for a bit and then now with a girl and then might be with Jake ... all messy !....I am.so happy for April, that she found her love. She knows what she wants and that's awesome !

After watching the show April is my favorite! She is so transparent and honest and I love that about her! She is so sweet, bubbly, and funny! She is also extremely beautiful and she deserves the best! She has her flaws, but I like how she knows who she is and what she needs to work on. Honestly I had my doubts and prejudices about April in the beginning of the show but… I was so impressed by what she said upon Nate’s proposal to Lauren. It really hit me hard and I fell in love with her ever since. I just finished the whole season and she’s my absolute favorite.

I didn't get the feeling on episode 9 that Jake thought he was going to get in a serious relationship with Rae even if they went on a trip. It was more like he found someone who he could hang out with and relax and have fun. He is young and doesn't want to get married yet. Better to be honest about it than him getting married and resenting it. April tries to argue that he should have gotten married because he bought a car or whatever. That isn't marriage. She obviously put a lot of pressure on him and wants to get married and have kids. They are just at different stage of life of where they want to be.

I would say to anyone as young, smart and who has so much potential to live a little more. Figure out what you want, who you are and the trajectory of your life before you consign yourself to such a deep and binding commitment such as marriage and parenthood. Both are beautiful, but if taken on arbitrarily, too early, and without the bandwidth to go through the choppy terrain of marriage and children, the opportunity to experience the best outcome significantly diminishes. You set yourself up for disappointment, frustration, resentment... divorce. Truthfully speaking, there are a myriad of life's experiences that already have their challenges, and to marry and bring children in the world that you haven't quite figured out how to navigate, you set yourself up for unnecessary disappointment that you aren't able to fully appreciate now because of your youth and inexperience. You might think that at 24-25 years of living that you're ready for a family, but... even those of us who waited until we were better prepared and did our due diligence to make sure that we were as ready as we could be, dotted our i's and crossed our t's, we still had/have blind spots that we had/have to navigate that necessarily requires a level of maturity and emotional intelligence to be able to keep our families in tact, and be able to grow from those life lessons without succumbing to the pressure and damage that not being properly equipped to traverse such challenges can result in. I say this as an older woman who wants only the best for you. You April, were my favorite on the show, and I hope that when you are ready, that you marry the husband and have the children of your dreams, that you deserve, and that you are genuinely happy in life. Never give another ultimatum, they don't work. Just take the scenic route in getting to marriage and parenthood, you'll be glad that you did. My two cents 🥰😉😁

Jake wasn't forced on the show. He could have simply said ✨no✨ and there's nothing wrong with April wanting marriage and babies. Jake just had to be honest and realize he wasn't going to give her these things. April has fertility issues so the journey to babies is accelerated for her.

While dating Rae, he probably saw dating didn't have to be so pressure filled. Jake was honest during the show and said he wants to travel and enjoy his early to mid 20s before getting married and having kids. He knows once you have kids you don't have the freedom travel like he would like to do. April was vocal about what her needs and wants were - to get married and have kids right away. That is fair. That is why they weren't a good match.

After watching the show April is my favorite! She is so transparent and honest and I love that about her! She is so sweet, bubbly, and funny! She is also extremely beautiful and she deserves the best! She has her flaws, but I like how she knows who she is and what she needs to work on. I saw she really tried and she was so nice to everyone! I felt bad when some of the girls were being kinda mean about her relationship. She still held her head strong and I'm proud of her!

Imo, April was the best. She knew what she wanted while Jake was dragging something that wasn't there anymore. He didn't want to be in the show because he didn't want to admit that he was done with the relationship(it was him dragging the relationship). Maybe April's affection was suffocating him, but he was a mayor hypocrite. He said he would be loyal but wasn't, then the moment he found out April had her own fun he gets angry. Pretty much karma. April's decision to be on the show was her best decision.

I really didn't like how Jake immediately ran to Rae after telling April he wasn't choosing anyone. Just be honest with her. April may have come off as too much to a lot of people but I really respect how open and honest she was with everyone and about everything. I am very happy for April.
Honestly I had my doubts and prejudices about April in the beginning of the show but… I was so impressed by what she said upon Nate’s proposal to Lauren. It really hit me hard and I fell in love with her ever since. I just finished the whole season and she’s my absolute favorite.

I didn't get the feeling on episode 9 that Jake thought he was going to get in a serious relationship with Rae even if they went on a trip. It was more like he found someone who he could hang out with and relax and have fun. He is young and doesn't want to get married yet. Better to be honest about it than him getting married and resenting it.
April tries to argue that he should have gotten married because he bought a car or whatever. That isn't marriage. She obviously put a lot of pressure on him and wants to get married and have kids. They are just at different stage of life of where they want to be.
Loved April in the show, she was one of the girls who seems to genuinely love her bf, but on the other hand I can understand Jake wanting to take more time because they are still quite young, but unfortunately he proved that he was not worth it after all, especially when he tried to gas light April telling her she was with other guys and making tantrums about it as if people couldn't see what he was doing with Rae, and all along has a box of s*x toys with Rae. Eww Jake will probably not find a girl like April, April can do much better obviously, so it's good that she found another guy, let's just hope this new guy is worth it this time.

I would say to anyone as young, smart and who has so much potential to live a little more. Figure out what you want, who you are and the trajectory of your life before you consign yourself to such a deep and binding commitment such as marriage and parenthood. Both are beautiful, but if taken on arbitrarily, too early, and without the bandwidth to go through the choppy terrain of marriage and children, the opportunity to experience the best outcome significantly diminishes. You set yourself up for disappointment, frustration, resentment... divorce. Truthfully speaking, there are a myriad of life's experiences that already have their challenges, and to marry and bring children in the world that you haven't quite figured out how to navigate, you set yourself up for unnecessary disappointment that you aren't able to fully appreciate now because of your youth and inexperience. You might think that at 24-25 years of living that you're ready for a family, but... even those of us who waited until we were better prepared and did our due diligence to make sure that we were as ready as we could be, dotted our i's and crossed our t's, we still had/have blind spots that we had/have to navigate that necessarily requires a level of maturity and emotional intelligence to be able to keep our families in tact, and be able to grow from those life lessons without succumbing to the pressure and damage that not being properly equipped to traverse such challenges can result in. I say this as an older woman who wants only the best for you. You April, were my favorite on the show, and I hope that when you are ready, that you marry the husband and have the children of your dreams, that you deserve, and that you are genuinely happy in life. Never give another ultimatum, they don't work. Just take the scenic route in getting to marriage and parenthood, you'll be glad that you did. My two cents 🥰😉😁

Jake apparently wasn't giving that to her, and on top of that, he bold-faced lied twice on national television. He told Rae that his mom loved her when she actually kind of insulted Rae and expressed clear preference for April, and told April that he wasn't running off with Rae right before trying to literally fly away with her... Who knows what else he has lied nonchalantly about... He seemed way too comfortable doing that. April can be obnoxious but at least she seems genuine and honest.
