Repentance is NOT shedding tears is such a great statement. How many abusive men shed tears begging for forgiveness and it means nothing...they have not repented at all. Watch out for tears during an apology...that is not the same as repentance as Dr. Mcgee points out.
Ken - Sure enjoyed this; captivated the entire 2 + hours without a stop, like a little child listening to a bedtime story! I have the 'TTB 5 Year Bible Bus Series' on a thumb-drive, but had not (yet) listened to, J. Vernon's, rendition of the book of Ruth: so much to be 'gleaned' in this multi-faceted story, and no-one quite tells a Bible story like "the one and only" Master McGee!
I so appreciate these teachings... It makes me want to be as close to God as I can get
