- Here is a quick walk around and a few features of the TrailMaster Mini XRX/R+. Great kids mini go kart. 3 years old and driving a go kart??? That's one hell of a bright kid!
Thanks for the video! My 5 year old has one of those power wheels Jeeps from Amazon. She's been driving it for a couple years now and I'm thinking pretty soon I'd like to upgrade and this would be perfect for her. That thing really goes! We do a lot of camping up in the mountains and like to bring her Jeep and she drives when we go for walks around the neighborhood. I think stuff like power wheels and these go karts are a great way to have your young ones work their way into driving cars when they turn 16. At least that way they can have those motor skills partly preprogrammed by the time they have to get into a real vehicle later on.

That is AWESOME! - Start them early with a passion for the outdoors, ATV/UTV/Hunting/Fishing/Rock Hound, I don't care what it is, and they won't get into "other troubles" as easily... (Good Job Making sure she has PPE!) - I work in power-sports, the best PPE is so comfortable, you feel naked NOT wearing it!
I have 5 and 7 year olds, to be 6 and 8 this summer. Will they get a few years out of this? ... is it big enough?
Yes, probably. Could also step it up to mid if you want them to grow into it. It's like buying clothes for kids...lol.

Yes, it works well for younger kids. Like under 10 yrs old.

Anthony, yes pleased with it so far. Only issue I have had is the seatbelt buckles dont like to click in place so I bought actual kid racing harnesses (quarter midget ones) to replace them. You can see more videos of it in action here: ruclips.net/p/PL8d9FovK2dNRTUH13P13gTDAuoRnYmwEy
As far as HP its advertised at 5.5hp. If not governed it can go 30mph but the stock setup has it pinned to 15-20mph at WOT with 160lb me in the driver seat.

@@D_Nine_Tee You'll have to google or YT Lifan 168 governor removal. Takes a little knowledge but can be done. It's not really recommended though. If you want a faster one just go up to the Trailmaster mid or other karts. This is plenty fast for young ones.
I just got this exact one for my 4 year old daughter after she has been ripping the ATV for the past 6 months. Did you have a hard time finding a good starting speed? If I’m not mistaken the pedal stop is the only way to control the throttle and it still seems like if I have it set just enough to get moving it just gets up to a pretty quick speed. A little too quick for her liking
Yea the throttle stop is worthless since it doesnt control speed, only the throttle. On flat ground with enough space it will still go full speed. I just had to teach my daughter throttle control.

How does this compare to the Coleman gokart?
Not sure, I havent seen the Coleman in person
Have you ever had issues with rolling it? My kids have a tendency to tip it on its side when turning.
Not yet. I teach them to slow down when turning.

Yes this one has reverse. They make them without reverse too.

Yea, only annoyance has been the stock seatbelts. Buckle doesn't latch reliably.
