Update: They're both likes for me, not loves. After testing on my skin, Keep Glazed dried down to a sweet fruity creamy musk that had a sharpness to it that didn't work well for me. What About Pop was enjoyable, but while wearing it on skin, I kept on thinking about and comparing it to SOL '71 Cheirosa and Shay Blue Salt Caramel. Both of which I love and already own, which would make WAP redundant for me. Both are yummy and worth a try, but for me personally, it's a pass.
Good to know!! I'll pass on trying both. I had actually been interested in both. Had been eyeing them and Dates Delight recently. Btw I can't see "WAP" without thinking of the Cardi B song now. Ugh. Lol.
So, I'm a few months late for this video, but I've been scouring RUclips to see if anyone else gets the same experience with What About Pop that I do. I was excited to try it because I love gourmands. It's so weird. I have a sample that I tried 3-4 times and maybe it's just me, or my skin chemistry. Or my nose is interpreting it wrong. At first, I get that delicious caramel popcorn note and it's lovely. After a while, though, it turns on me and the dry down is unpleasantly sour. Like, actually stinky. What is that? Is it the ambergris? Can that go bad on some people? Has anyone else had that experience?

Such a timely video! I was just looking at THOO site today and considering purchasing one of these. I am treating myself to a perfume as I will get my Christmas bonus next week (yay). However, I think with Sol 71 (which I already own), it might be overkill. Off topic: did you ever purchase Floraiku's One Umbrella for Two? You had the same reaction I did upon sampling it. 😍. I love it.... But it is hard to justify €220 for 50 ml 😬. I also wanted to thank you for your book recommendation. I have the Perfume A to Z Guide from Turin and Sanchez. Love the style of the reviews (they did not hold back reviewing some of these). I also bought the more recent Perfumes : The Guide, also by these authors, but going up to 2018. These are fantastic for referencing fragrances! Any other reading suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
