I would say the couple are still living in their same house. They are just humoring themselves about looking to move.

I used to enjoy reading Comments section on ETTC shows but I must say the negative and judgmental put-downs of the people buying and/or the show itself have increased substantially in these recent times. All feels so nasty - maybe a reflection of the tenor of the world these days. Would be nice to see people check the nasty and just appreciate.
It's not so much nasty, it's just an honest review of how people saw the show. I think your comment was more critical than most of the comments posted. Perhaps you might try to appreciate other peoples' opinions as other peoples' opinions,

I felt sorry for this couple as they are not ready to move. They looked around to satisfy their curiosity. I hope they find their peace and happiness.
I'm with the couple on this one. Their search area was specific but fairly vast, so I'd have thought it not difficult to look in the large catchment area they stipulated. One important criterion was a separate formal dining room for entertaining. The first 2 houses did not have an adequate separate dining room. The 3rd property had a beautiful dining room, but alas was totally out of their desired area. Therefore, none of the houses offered were suitable for them, even if they were all very good properties in their own right.
It's always lovely to see Nicki, and that first, coral-coloured outfit looked fabulous on her!
I wish that they would put Escape to the Country back on.A rest in peace Jonnnie

Oh House 1 was lovely, really liked that one. House 2 was good too, loved the garden. Mystery was nice but not my fave this time.
Nicki does such a great job of helping people understand what they want and at the speed they need. Love this show!

They finally offer a big kitchen-diner, and she doesn't want one! 🙄 Figures! She wants a separate dining room, and there isn't one.
House #2 has 2 bedrooms and 2 half bedrooms. They could knock a wall through and make the two half rooms into one large room. Nice house otherwise.
Mystery house is very nice if the canal doesn't flood. The UK has has some serious flooding recently.
Canals are controlled waterways.
I wonder if multiple bee hives would be allowed in an urban setting ? And what are the poor critters supposed to feed on without a garden of flowers ? I can see why these two cannot agree on a house !
Wonderful to see a woman who wants a formal dining room and doesn't want an entertaining kitchen!
I live in Canada. Some of these homes that people think wonderful are absolutely depressing to me.
I think some people come to see new places . Such people are not interested in buying.
They may be of similar age, but they look more like mother and son, if you discount the close ups. Maybe it's because she styles herself like an old lady?

My, does she know how to pout…. The homes were lovely, Nicki is always charming, the couple was a huge drag. My goodness, do I need to get away from that disapproving mug!

A miniature Niagara Falls? Most falls can be called a mini Niagara Falls, Niagara falls are famous for being huge. So anything smaller can be called a mini Niagara falls if we choose too.

Buy a piece of property and build a home -- if, in fact, they really want to move ! And Nicki, always the professional , did her best with two people who really wasted her time when they have no intention of moving. Selfish!

Good grief, who wants a family bathroom? So many of these houses have just one massive bathroom and several bedrooms. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have two or three smaller bathrooms?

After 33 years of “thinking” about moving, it’s obvious this couple will never find a suitable house. Stop wasting yours and the realtor’s time.
