Totally let Travis decorate for his little mini me. I want to see how he will style it. All we ever hear about is what Katie wants. Let Travis decide something on his own for a change.
I actually love the idea Travis has. I think Girl one side/Boy one side would be adorable and I also think an even split would be a great lesson on sharing. They share a room but also have specific areas if they want individual play time (once he gets big enough to play). Obviously, whatever you decide will be the perfect solution for your family
I vote Travis on this one. You did a great job with Hayley’s Room…Harvey needs his name on his side with some decorations too. Babies love looking at stuff…with Katie dresser should stay in the closet for more room unless u use it as a changing station on top…textiles would be great cuz you can change out or add the pics as they get older and each one will have their own wall and easy to take down when u move…doesn’t Hayley play by her bookcase too. Cuz Harvey will eventually be sleeping in his crib and Hayley needs to play in that spot. Sure you got this and it’s going to look beautiful. Nice seeing Josie and her beautiful family…thought she’d be the family beautician but sure she’s busy with 3 kiddos…enjoy your family and can’t wait to see the room 🩷🙏🏻💙
I like both ideas: Katie's with leaving the dresser in the closet and minimal; Travis's with Harvey's name on the wall and adding sticker basketballs, baseballs, footballs, etc. around his name (done in light blue/white/light tan maybe); also maybe add some sticker flowers on Hailey's wall around her name (done in soft pink, light yellow, white to match Harvey's wall). You guys are awesome and have a beautiful family!
I kinda agree with a mix of both ideas actually, I like Katie’s idea of keeping the dresser in the closet but I like Travis’s idea of decorating one side with even simple boy stuff like he wants and having one side be Hailey’s💕
Travis wins he should have his time in decorating for Harvey. You did with Hailey. There are a lot of peel and stick decorations that can come off just as easy as they went up
Team Travis💙! I understand Katie's thought and vision...but for memories and one day he can look back...and is all he gonna see pics of his bassinet in mommy & daddy's room?? Go to restoration hardware and get wonderful ideas in how to minimally decorate and still have cohesiveness in the room where it all looks good, minimal, delicate and elegant for both genders. Baby boy and big sister both deserve their room where they can share while still maintaining individual aspects of the room when it comes to decor!! Hope this helps ❤❤❤❤
I vote Travis! Harvey needs his name on the wall too. Maybe not full on sports all over the wall, but definitely Haley on one side and Harvey on the other. And if you are gonna have 2 cribs that would be cool with one on one side and One on the other.
I vote for Travis! It doesn't sound like he wants to go to wild! I understand wanting to keep it simple but this is the first boy. You're blessed you have a husband and dad so active in the children's lives. I know Katie already knows that. Y'all are the sweetest! I can't wait to see what happens!!
Let Travis decorate the room the way he likes. It will be cute and Harv will appreciate it when he gets bigger, plus I wanna see it with all the golf stuff 😆🫶🏽
Yes!!! I’m team Travis! Even if you can’t do a lot, let Travis pick whatever decor that celebrates his boy. I have learned, find a balance and meet in the middle somewhere. Win/win! 😅
Awe Hailey was so precious when she was getting her hair cut. Brought tears to my eyes. I'm getting so excited for you. I m on Travis side. Split it down the middle. Let Travis decorate.
Leave the dresser in the closet, but make the wall with Harvey's name. Put some flower/ butterfly stickers for Hayley and some animals or sports for him. Put a pack and play or another crib for Harvey so he has space in the room also.
Travis! Hailey got her "debut" let Harvey have his regardless of your residence, maybe not all the bells and whistles, but something. Keep the dresser inside. It's practical in there.
TEAM TRAVIS!!!!! 'm with you Travis, the room certainly needs to be decorated for visual stimulation which is important for newborns. The room should to be split and they need to each have a space for hanging cloths in the closet..
Peel and Stick wallpaper & stickers are great & don't damage the walls. We had boy/girl twins & they shared a room until they were 5. Lots of coordinating decor out there. 😊
Travis is excited to decorate for a boy, and you can't go back and say I wished we would have just done it! Who knows, this may be your only boy and I wouldn't let being in a temporary situation stop me. ❤
Team Travis. They have baby sports stuff. Maybe put a small quilt on the wall with sport theme were Harvey will sleep❤. Can't believe Callie is driving. Love the video
Katie let Dad Travis have his way he four once. He is so sweet all the time he adores Katie and Hailey. Let him have all the football, baseball stickers. Love your channel. Sending you blessings ❤.
I like Travis' idea of splitting the room with changing table out of the closet. Just because, Harvey is a boy and there could be some boy accidents shooting up on Haley's hanging clothes. Plus, it would be nice to see Harvey's name and boy decorations on his side of the room.
@@barbararjacobs1740 yep! That's a really good point. After changing diapers on a lil girl it takes a lil while to get faster and remember to cover up. Lol
I agree with Katie and the minimalistic aesthetic approach. He's going to be a little infant. It's not like he's going to remember how his room is going to look. What he's going to remember is the fun that he will have with his big sister and his mommy and daddy. Maybe until you guys move to a bigger home he can have his own space but right now I don't think he is too concerned about having his own side.
Team Travis all the way. He is the most patient, kind and giving husband and father and does so much for his family. He isn’t asking for much and is so deserving. Katie is fighting hard to get her way but had full control with Hailey’s room. Please give him this one small thing that would mean so much to him. 😊💙
You can use decals on both walls to personalize each side of the room. They are very inexpensive (Amazon) and easy to put up and take down, just peel off slowly. I like keeping the dresser in the closet, that way you can close the door and the kids will be less likely to climb it.
I vote TRAVIS, all the way. Katie decorated for Hailey, now it's Travis's turn to decorate for Harvey. What if y'all never have another boy & only girls from now on? He'd never get to do it again & would regret not doing it for Harvey.
I had my children share a room for a year I gave them the primary room and I cut it in half boy and girl decorated with primary colors feminine and masculine (I vote Travis)
Travis for the win. They both need to have their own part of the room. It shouldn't be more Hailey just because it's always been her room. Harvey will be there and it needs to be his room as well. Nothing wrong with Hailey having her half and Harvey having his.
I think splitting it down the middle is a fair option. Erin would be helpful with appropriate decorations you can use for the walls. I also like keeping all the stuff in the closet to give it a more clean look. So I say mesh those 2 ideas and create a 3rd option 😊
I vote Travis. You can keep the dresser in the closet and use that and the clothing rack on the left inside for Harvey but put a crib on the right side of the room for Harvey. Use command straps and make the right wall all for Harvey and put the chair in between them on the back wall. Two of my kids had to share a room for 6 months while we were building a house and they were a boy and girl. They had bunkbeds and their comforters were definitely one princess and one sports. They each had a toy tub with their own stuff in it and they worked out fine. It won't matter so much at first but within a few months or so when you want to put him in his crib it will already be ready for him and that will be good cause with 2 kids you have less time to redo rooms. Love ya'lls channel and I've been watching your family since ya'll were guests on the Duggars show. Ya'll are a blessing and God loves you!!
You got to have all the pink ribbons and laces for the little princess, now Travis should get to have all the trucks and sports stuff for his little man. Let him be a boy dad 🏈🏀🚂🚒
I’d side with Travis. They’re little for such a short time, I always tried to decorate a little even if we were in a rental or possibly moving…then when you love, reuse the decorations. Maybe put the dresser/changing table on baby boy’s wall, and keep other potentially messy things in the closet!
I vote Travis! He’s so athletic so basketballs, footballs anything Like that would be so cute! But keeping it neutral with pink and blue touches would also work! Anyway you look at it, it will be cute.

I saw y’all at Dollywood today 😊
Totally let Travis decorate for his little mini me. I want to see how he will style it. All we ever hear about is what Katie wants. Let Travis decide something on his own for a change.
I’m Going With Team Travis

They share a room but also have specific areas if they want individual play time (once he gets big enough to play). Obviously, whatever you decide will be the perfect solution for your family
I like Travis’ idea. My brother and I shared a room. My Mom split down the middle and it worked perfectly. Good luck 🍀
I like Travis' idea the best! They should BOTH have equal space!!
Team Trav!!!! Let him have this momma. He always puts his two girls first! Always!!!!! Daddy needs this!!!!
Totally Travis, I remember how excited my son was to do his first Son’s room…
I love the idea of the split, even if the area for Harvey is smaller. I think Haley would like it, too ❤. I'm with Travis this time!😊
I’m voting for Travis!!

Travis has a great idea
Travis you have my vote..minimal boy stuff. Half & half. Can’t wait to meet the little man. God bless. 🤱🏼👨🏽🍼
I kinda agree with a mix of both ideas actually, I like Katie’s idea of keeping the dresser in the closet but I like Travis’s idea of decorating one side with even simple boy stuff like he wants and having one side be Hailey’s💕
Let Travis decorate for his boy .. remi looks so adorable in her scarf
Travis wins he should have his time in decorating for Harvey. You did with Hailey. There are a lot of peel and stick decorations that can come off just as easy as they went up
Let Travis have his moment for Harvey.
Team Travis💙! I understand Katie's thought and vision...but for memories and one day he can look back...and is all he gonna see pics of his bassinet in mommy & daddy's room?? Let Travis do one side of room. Boys are exciting for Dads. It’s important to him.
Agree with Travis!! One wall for Harvey and one for Hailey
I vote Travis! Harvey needs his name on the wall too. Maybe not full on sports all over the wall, but definitely Haley on one side and Harvey on the other. And if you are gonna have 2 cribs that would be cool with one on one side and One on the other.
TEAM TRAVIS
I vote Travis ❤
I vote Travis I agree he needs he’s own space !😊
At least let the room acknowledge Harvey’s existence ❣️
I vote for Travis! It doesn't sound like he wants to go to wild! I understand wanting to keep it simple but this is the first boy. You're blessed you have a husband and dad so active in the children's lives. I know Katie already knows that. Y'all are the sweetest! I can't wait to see what happens!!

Travis has great ideas make sure you put Harvey's name on the wall too
Awe Hailey was so precious when she was getting her hair cut. Brought tears to my eyes. I'm getting so excited for you.
I m on Travis side.
Split it down the middle.
Let Travis decorate.
Blessings guys let Travis do Harvey area.
Leave the dresser in the closet, but make the wall with Harvey's name. Put some flower/ butterfly stickers for Hayley and some animals or sports for him. Put a pack and play or another crib for Harvey so he has space in the room also.
Team trav! i think it will be great to have a side for each of your kids to have their own set up. love y'all!💚
Let Travis have a turn
Let Travis have his way😊
My vote is with Travis. Little Harvey needs his own wall of fame!
Travis gets this win!
Travis! Hailey got her "debut" let Harvey have his regardless of your residence, maybe not all the bells and whistles, but something. Keep the dresser inside. It's practical in there.
Travis' Idea All The Way!! Put Harvey's name on the wall!
Travis gets my vote
I love the half girl half boy room
TEAM TRAVIS!!!!! 'm with you Travis, the room certainly needs to be decorated for visual stimulation which is important for newborns. The room should to be split and they need to each have a space for hanging cloths in the closet..
Travis this is good for your head!!! Decorate for your little boy, it's good for you! It's a,
DAD THING!!!👦💙👶🩵🫠🤗👍
Peel and Stick wallpaper & stickers are great & don't damage the walls. We had boy/girl twins & they shared a room until they were 5. Lots of coordinating decor out there. 😊
Let Travis do what he wants.
I with Travis!!!
Travis. Decorate the entire room. Harvey one side Hailey the other side. Go for it
Travis idea is wonderful
Katie decorates for girls
Travis decorates for boys
Command hooks no torn walls and can hang cute pictures
I gotta agree with Travis.
Harvey needs his own wall!!!! Lol
Travis and katie both your ideas are great. Just put them together. ❤ have fun decorating. 😊
I vote for Travis let him do this for his boy ❤
I am voting with Travis on decorating half of the nursery for Harvey. 😊
Katie let Dad Travis have his way he four once. He is so sweet all the time he adores Katie and Hailey. Let him have all the football, baseball stickers. Love your channel. Sending you blessings ❤.
I like Katie’s idea but I would let Travis decorate for his boy 💙💕
My vote is for Travis. I do understand Katie's perspective but Travis' idea is not too much clutter and gives Harvey his own dedicated side.
My vote is for Travis. Love his ideas
I’m with Travis on the wall.
Add Harvey’s name.
But I’m with Katie on the dresser.
Leave it in the closet and let Hailey have more room to play. 😊
Travis go for it
I think Travis should do this one ❤
I like Travis' idea of splitting the room with changing table out of the closet. Just because, Harvey is a boy and there could be some boy accidents shooting up on Haley's hanging clothes. Plus, it would be nice to see Harvey's name and boy decorations on his side of the room.

Team Travis. You don't want Harvey to look back at videos and pictures of Haileys room and be jealous ;) Ya'll did so much for her.
I vote Travis. He's needs his boy space!!
Let Travis enjoy having a son with his touch and input❤
You can use decals on both walls to personalize each side of the room. They are very inexpensive (Amazon) and easy to put up and take down, just peel off slowly. I like keeping the dresser in the closet, that way you can close the door and the kids will be less likely to climb it.
I agree with some of the others on here, let Travis decorate for his Boy Harvey!
I vote TRAVIS, all the way. Katie decorated for Hailey, now it's Travis's turn to decorate for Harvey. What if y'all never have another boy & only girls from now on? He'd never get to do it again & would regret not doing it for Harvey.
I’m will Travis.
I had my children share a room for a year I gave them the primary room and I cut it in half boy and girl decorated with primary colors feminine and masculine (I vote Travis)
I vote for Travis…there are so many options for temporary decorating, like hanging pics, etc with Command Strips
I agree with Travis
Let Travis decorate! 😊
Team travis🎉
Team Travis!
I vote Travis
If Hailey gets her name, then Harvey should too!! ❤😊❤
Travis proposal is the best.
Let Travis have some fun!
I agree with Travis that you could split it half and half. 😊 I would leave the dresser in the closet.
I vote for Trav!
I’m agreeing with Travis. Keep the colors neutral but with things for both.
Travis for the win. They both need to have their own part of the room. It shouldn't be more Hailey just because it's always been her room. Harvey will

Please let him do it.. He is so excited about it. It's his first son...please consider his feelings...😊
I don’t like clutter either, but I vote Travis to have his Harvey wall.🩵
I vote Travis. You can keep the dresser in the closet and use that and the clothing rack on the left inside for Harvey but put a crib on the right side of the room for Harvey. Travis is right. If you have 3 rooms she can have her own

I like Travis’ idea. Bring the dresser out and use it for your changing table.
I'm with Trav on the nursery
I’m for team Travis. Harvey needs his space.
I agree with both- decorate the wall for Harvey but keep the dresser in the closet. The space is worthwhile
I vote Travis! He’s so athletic so basketballs, footballs anything
Like that would be so cute! But keeping it neutral with pink and blue touches would also work! Anyway you look at it, it will be cute.
