The thing that no one is mentioning is the 3 weeks that we had time to heal. Our O line was banged up all year and our linemen were moving from side to side. Also, Etienne will be fully healthy and if the Robinson's are healthy we could bulldoze them.

I look around at these playoff teams … OSU PSU Oregon Texas ND , and I think man these teams are strong and would be very hard to beat. And then I remember well Kirby’s Dawgs are very hard to beat too ! Notre dame fans chanted “ WE WANT GEORGIA !” Ok Well YOU GOT GEORGIA NOW ! Let’s get it on !!! GO DAWGS SIC’EM 💪
If you watched the games, ND had the second best showing in the CFP 1st round. By mid 1st QTR they were already in chew out the clock and do not get hurt mode for next game mode. That game was not competitive at all.

They beat Texas A and M, yes it was the first game of the season but that is a decent win. They beat Louisville which is a decent team, def not a cupcake. They beat Georgia Tech who turned out to be pretty damn good and was beating Georgia 17-0 at half and took them to 8 OTs. They beat Army and Navy, which say what you want, but were both ranked most of the year. They beat USC which is a decent win. They beat Indiana, which also say what you want, was a good win. I do not agree. I think ND is more proven than you think and most importantly has gotten better with every game they have played. Again not an ND fan but I am calling it like I see it.

I think the three biggest things that will determine if this is a challenge for GA. 1) NDs undersized defense vs our OL. ND defense has speed, but not much size. Our OL avgs around 315lbs, their DL avgs around like 270ish. They got one guy in his 260s and the biggest, their NT is 290. In comparison, our NT is 320. If our OL can push them back and control the line they will run the ball easily. If they cant, will be super bad. 2) Their OL vs our DL. If we can hold their run game in check and get pressure on Leonard, ND will have a really tough time. I dont think Leonard has the speed or shiftiness to outrun our LBs, not sure if he could outrun our DL, he looked slow and not shifty at all, ran real stiff. 3) Gunner. If he can limit or eliminate costly mistakes, take care of the ball, keep the chains moving with short accurate throws and his legs, then it will greatly increase our chances of winning. If all three of those go our way, it will be a blow out. If they shut our run down and make us 1 demensional....then we are in trouble. Gunner can throw it, he has a strong and good arm, but he lacks experience, our WRs have shown they dont have great hands, so I would feel uneasy to say the least if they are having to drop back and throw to win this game unless our def pitches a shutout.
ND has 300lb+ DT's in the rotation, Rubio and Sevillano. Leonard is deceptively fast, might not outrun a talented Georgia defensive player but can certainly get chunk plays. He doesn't look flashy shifting but somehow he tends to make tacklers miss and he's a huge and powerful dude. He's also particularly good at not getting sacked, has good pocket awareness.
I'm a Beck fan, but you can't say definitively that if Gunner was the better QB he would have been starting and then also say that Kirby doesn't always make the best starting QB decisions. Further, we all know, for a variety of reasons, right and wrong, the best players aren't always the ones starting at any given time.
Exactly Kirby goes by Seniority and who has been there the longest usually gets their chance to be Qb1 with the exceptiom of when a QB has gotten hurt and then they were replaced and if they did well then they "took" their job.

ND fan here. Notre Dame hasn’t shown me a single example in my lifetime of them being able to win a prime time game like this will be against GA. We’ve had a great year and win or lose against you guys I’m happy with the direction our program is trending at the moment. I think this game, like most, will come down to ND being outmatched at the line of scrimmage. Outside of a 98 yard run against Indiana, our run game was very ineffective. I think GA’s defensive line will be able to stifle our running backs and that will be the storyline. Our defense is good enough to play with any team this year but I see them being on the field for far too long against you. Too many three and outs from our offense. They’ll be worn down and GA’s run game will take over. Personally I’m not buying the hype with Stockton. If he were better than Beck, Kirby would start him, and I don’t think Beck has been particularly impressive this year. I’m far more concerned with the size discrepancy on the line than anything Stockton brings to the table. I’m predicting 34-10 UGA and I’ll be extremely pleasantly surprised if I’m wrong! Go Irish ☘️
The game will be close. ND running backs are very good. If the Irish stay committed to the run, using their qb to compliment their attack they will be able to beat Georgia. Georgia isn't scoring over 20 on ND. Georgia defense isn't good at stopping the run. UMass and Georgia Tech both had over 200 yards rushing on them. I watched both games. ND will be able to move the ball on the ground. It wouldn't surprise me if ND wins this game by 10 points or so.

Our wide receivers have a hard time catching the ball so now we have another runner I am all in…Throw to the tide ends or tuck it and run use the wide outs as blockers or decoys

I keep hearing the coaches go with the best players on the team, ie the QB. If I recall in ‘20, they put Mathis in to start the season and Bennet had to save the day. I think we would have beaten Florida if they hadn’t hurt Stetson. The next year, JT starts and we don’t get an offensive TD. Stetson again has to save the season. I think we are good to go with Gunner.

You have missed one big piece of this, Kirby had to go to the well for close to $5m in NIL for Beck..... He couldn't open it up and save face with donors..... Stockton was higher rates out of HS and has more tools than his arm
O-line and defense will win. Gotta protect Gunner. His INT against TX was due to inexperience and getting pressured. If defense can hold ND and O-line protect Gunner, I would be confident.
Beck is the better QB..but gunner may be quite effective for our offense..he throws a more catchable ball..has 4.65 speed and his run game will keep defenses honest. .Beck was never a threat to run..his pics where thrown from an empty set where LB's dropped back into passing lanes when Beck could of took off....our WR's need to catch the ball.. defense has to be lights out..bobo has to scheme a fast start and get EVERYONE involved..gonna be a tough game..Go Dawgs!
Gunner's gonna have a 'break in' starting game at some point. Better to do it now. If he Dawgs out like we expect him to, next year he'll be seasoned having faced the best teams in the country.
If your a Ga fan and worried or scared. Then your not a fan. Also you would need to watch the other teams in the playoffs during the regular season. Ga will be fine with Gunner and the skeme they will use. They just need to play solid D and tackle. Then block ,catch the ball and have a decent running attack. First beat ND then Penn State doesn't score enough to really put pressure on teams. I don't want to hear about that SC game either. SC doesn't have a lick of Defense.
This is not the Georgia we have been spoiled with. A lot of these guys will not be playing on Sunday. Georgia is not built for the playoffs. Barely managed the regular season. Georgia desperately needs an NFL caliber running back. Losing Lad and Bowers to the NFL is revealing for Becks 2024 performance. Defense seems thin too. They are a good team but not great. They have over performed in some games and been underwhelming in others. I would not pic the dawgs against OSU, Oregon, or ND.

O-line and defense will win. Gotta protect Gunner. His INT against TX was due to inexperience and getting pressured. If defense can hold ND and O-line protect Gunner, I would be confident.

Beck is the better QB..but gunner may be quite effective for our offense..he throws a more catchable ball..has 4.65 speed and his run game will keep defenses honest. .Beck was never a threat to run..his pics where thrown from an empty set where LB's dropped back into passing lanes when Beck could of took off....our WR's need to catch the ball.. defense has to be lights out..bobo has to scheme a fast start and get EVERYONE involved..gonna be a tough game..Go Dawgs!

Gunner's gonna have a 'break in' starting game at some point. Better to do it now. If he Dawgs out like we expect him to, next year he'll be seasoned having faced the best teams in the country.

If your a Ga fan and worried or scared. Then your not a fan. Also you would need to watch the other teams in the playoffs during the regular season. This is not the Georgia we have been spoiled with. A lot of these guys will not be playing on Sunday. Georgia is not built for the playoffs. Barely managed the regular season. Georgia desperately needs an NFL caliber running back. Losing Lad and Bowers to the NFL is revealing for Becks 2024 performance. Defense seems thin too. They are a good team but not great. They have over performed in some games and been underwhelming in others. I would not pic the dawgs against OSU, Oregon, or ND.
