I’m Varun, a creator, writer, musician, and tech guy based out of New York City. I make videos about working in the tech industry, my life as an Indian American, and figuring life out.
Thanks for the advice Varun, it hits home now that I'm out on a co-op and won't be able to return to school until the winter. I thought it'd be great to have my days free after five, but I feel like they lack the quality that even an hour at Michigan had. Definitely gonna learn to appreciate what I have.

After flunking out of a service academy and now raising my grades at a community college, this video gave me some motivation to look at Michigan as a transfer option
Genuinely this is such good advice. I wish I had heard this freshman year instead of going into senior year. I spent so much time sitting around trying to get that extra studying in to hopefully boost my exam scores by 5% when I would’ve been much better off going out, blowing off some steam in the gym, and meeting new people. Thanks for the advice, Varun. Go Blue! 〽️
Well said, the gut feel aspect I thought was huge. I was raised a Michigan Fan by an alumni parent and thought I’d end up there but immediately knew once visiting that the sports centered energy and school spirit was not my cup of tea, albeit a sick town. Ended up going somewhere more low key and worked out great
