I spent half a year lucid dreaming, but didn't find it was worth the time investment. You only get max 20-60 minutes of lucid dreaming per night, and often spend more time than that during the waking day becoming a lucid dreamer as you write super long dream journals and doing reality checks, so at least in my case I didn't get more time out of it than I put in.

lucid dreaming is real, once i discovered the topic i think it awakend something inside me allready, i kept a dream journal as much as i could. in the begin you dont remember so much but it will improve quite fast if you do. i also did reality checks too during the day by just looking at my hands and ask myself if im awake like once an hour. as soon as you dream again and you notice something strange that wouldnt happen when you are awake or sometimes surten dreams reacure and you norice it, you do the reality check in your dream and notice you wont see your hands the way you do when you are awake, they looked shadowy and somewhat transparant to me is when i realized i was dreaming and became aware inside my dream. i often used to dream i get lost somewhere thats what set it of for me. i recognized it. then i tried to float up and fly away and it worked, tricky part is you get so overwhelmed by knowing you are lucid its easy to just wake up out of excitement :)

A brain is recording around 10,000 different environmental sensory stimuli per second but we can only actively pay attention to mostly 10 per second. All the other information that is sensed by our body is stored in the brain. I am a lucid dreamer and I believe that lucid dreaming taps into that large reservoir of information that is stored in your brain. Your brain wants to do something with that information. In lucid dreams you can use that information to be creative. You can interact with people in your dreams and create music, paintings, poems, stories, etc. You can listen to lucid dream friends and ask them to tell you things you didn't know existed yet. But it is all from you. From your own brain. It is a different way of creating then the way we are typically used to when we are awake. It works. I have done it many times.

Like everything in the Awaken Reality, the moment one stops trying to explains, clarifies, quantifies, categorize, compartmentalize, control and judge, one will TRULY EXPERIENCE the TRUE NATURE of REALITY, Awaken or Dreaming. Lucid Dreams ONLY requires your FOCUS, ATTENTION, INTENTION and the willingness to be your TRUE SELF. That's when The True Magic Happens. Bon Voyage Traveler!

If you have really vivid, color dreams it's such an amazing experience to "wake up" inside them. That's why she is so passionate about it. Everything is hyper-real even down to the touch. I have to touch everything in a lucid dream, it's so fantastic. If you have what I would call the Full Experience, you will have the same level of enthusiasm that she has when trying to talk about it with others.

When I was child I used to get really bad nightmares and when I went to my parents for comfort, I didn’t get it. So I decided I needed to change my dreams bc I used to be able to re enter dreams if I was dedicated or sleepy enough. I would enter the dream again and at first I would try to move myself in different ways and it got caught on loops. Like I was breaking in. And then I was able to turn the nightmare into a dream by going back in and just dream myself with powers. After I got the hang of it, it became natural and almost expected. I don’t remember my dreams anymore now but I can still remember important parts of old dreams I had

I've been practising lucid dreaming for 20 years now and have pretty much mastered it, but I never ceases to amaze me how its possible. Sometimes I will spawn a city and just walk through it looking at all the faces of people and wondering how its possible for a brain to create and simulate 10000's of unique people.
I discovered how to spawn anything you like by just closing my eyes in the dream and thinking where I want to go, then open my eyes slowly and I'm there, its hard to master this as I would open my eyes in real life most of the time at first, and the excitement will often wake you up also.

  • @TheSevonne
    @TheSevonne Год назад +5

I started lucid dreaming spontaneously as a young child off and on. Around 15 years old I decided to put effort into exploring lucid dreaming and seeing what I could really do. I didn’t have the same experience as the woman speaking here where she became really happy in waking life. Unfortunately it was the opposite for me. Because the life I was living while asleep was so much more incredibly saturated and alive and free and adventurous and indescribably beautiful, being awake was so much of a contrast and everything had a dull gray cast to it, including my emotions and ability to feel good. I couldn’t reach the emotional highs and lows that I could in dreams while awake, time was so heavy and felt like a lead weight on me, just existing in waking life was so hard compared to what was becoming my real life in dreams. The depression saturated deeply and although it has lifted somewhat after quitting lucid dreaming completely, I’ve never really been the same again. Which is okay really, because I’m finding a new me to grow into and I feel like I’m ready to pick up where I left off now that I’ve lived a lot of life in my 35 years. I’ve grown much more resilient and understand the importance of balance much better now.

When I lucid dream, I leave whatever the narrative is when I become aware and fly.
I recently had the best flying dream of all. I jumped into the air, just over the rooftops, I could see water in the distance and flew towards it, it was a channel, I could see houses and buildings on either side. I flew to the middle and shot straight up over the water like Superman. I went up about 1000 feet, just above the clouds and turned it off, allowing myself to freefall back down to the water. when I was getting close, I turned it back on and flew straight along the middle of the channel just above the water, went under a bridge and back up about 200 feet, hovered there a moment and then woke up.
I'm hoping to re-enter that dream soon, it was the most amazing feeling!

@@vra4432 it's more vivid than that. When you dream normaly everything seems real, even when it is surreal and absurd. When you are lucid that feeling of reality it's still there, except for you are aware you are dreaming. For example, when I dream about flight, although I am aware it's only a dream it DOES feel real. You can hear the air roaring in your ears, you can feel the wind making your hair and clothes flutter, you can feel the sun on your skin, and it feels just as it is when you are awake.

Flying is the 1st great thing that happens to a lucid dreamer.
There are however, other abilities that can be mastered as you awake into the realization of being matter less.
In one particular occasion where I was licid dreaming i encountered a giant snake that wanted to kill me and chased me through the woods; in a moment of panic i looked at my hand and remembered that this was my dream and I was in control and nothing could hurt me.
At this moment I started to get very angry at the large snake and all of my focused angered was directed to my right hand which I was looking at and then it quickly became a flamimg white sword of energy.
Which I then used to mutiliate the snake with.
I guess what I'm saying is that you can gradually become more and more powerful as you realize your true energy and pay more attention to every detail you encounter..

6:10 This is one of the reasons why I find the science of lucid dreaming to be the answer to discovering the nature of consciousness in humans. Take that popular quote, that dreams sacrifice coherence for completion, there couldn't be any better definition. Take it one step further and become lucid within the dream, it's added layer of complexity. So it is layers upon layers of self awareness which makes up the notion of 'I', probably the reason why all your senses are heightened to a level no ordinary waking state could possibly output. It's a level of perceptual discrimination second to none. Perhaps the key to evolution.

I had traveled to many places far and wide before but last night was different.
Last night i saw myself out of my body and i was in my house, in my living room. I felt lighter than usual but i could see my entire dream self.... I tightened my body and felt my feet float a few inches of the ground. Instead of walking around i decided to float around until i began learning how to control it. I been having lucid dreams since a kid. I am 40 something and i still have them.
Is true what she says. I already visited the outer space. It was the most amazing experience to stand there, in the darkness surrounded by the blinking lights of the stars, to see the planets and the sun around me. While it felt amazing, I also could feel my heart pump with excitement, but fear at the same time. I remember thinking, that I needed to get back home, and i did.
I been able to visit other places, which happen to be un other countries. And no, in lucid dreams you sometimes you don't see yourself traveling through places to get to a certain point. It is just like a click and there you are.
You see people, abd you feel immense happiness to see them because they are "family" or a " partner" that you were not ever aware you had, or even a child that was "yours" the happiness is there, it is immense, and the nostalgia is there. You talk to them, you feel like they have been in your life forever. You see them, you recognize them, but when you wake up, you know that in real life none of that makes sense. Because, you are not married, or are dating, don't have kids, or any of those people in the dream are part of your real life.
Flying, yes! But, not like a bird or Superman like style. More like a person that can walk around without the gravitational pull. Been able to take off from this earth, without difficulty.

I woke up from that dream into another one and I was telling my friend in the second dream about the first one, and I was like "it was so weird, I was with all of these people and I loved them and i felt like i had known them forever, it was so good to be with them again" and he was like why don't you go see them now and I was said because they aren't real people. I do not believe that the scenery in my lucid dreams come from my own brain, but are so vivid and clear that they can only come from a MIND beyond my own. I guess this is why esoteric mystery schools call it astral projection in the astral plane (no silver cords necessary) People that have experienced it will understand what I mean.
