I just got silicone mesh for my dehydrator (game changer- makes unloading and cleaning a snap.) I looked at them and thought- these will be great for microgreens!
What I don't like about these is the small reservoir. I forgot to check my water level on my beautiful broccoli just one day and I found them all dried up this morning. I highly recommend the On The Grow Microgreen kit that has a larger reservoir, and better construction. I may even purchase a second one.
Yeah, the smaller trays can be less forgiving if you don't water them enough! But they are wonderful for smaller grows. Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're sure it'll be helpful for others too 🌱🌱😊
This is a very helpful video. I do have a question though. How much weight do you suggest to use for these small trays? And is there a difference in the amount of weight used depending on the number of trays? Thank you for helping us all learn!
We're happy to be back. Thanks for watching! The herb grower in the background is our all-in-one grow light tray kit that we sell, here's the link: onthegrow.net/products/otg-growlight-tray-kit
I have looked through your videos have not found a how too on growing sunflower micro greens the ones without the husk on them. Can you help me find it😢. PS I just love watching you guys 😊 keep it up Thanks
Honestly, it boils down to personal preference! The Silicone can be easier to handle, and sometimes easier to clean for us. Soon we'll have a side by side grow video for the steel and silicone ☺️
Basically, yes! The water should be touching the roots, but not coming over / pooling into the white tray when it's down. Happy to hear you received your order!! If you have more questions, email us info@onthegrow.net and we'd love to help!

It was all good until the clean up. 😢 I'm thinking to prefer growing them in trays with soil, harvest with scissors, then throw the rest in the compost to reuse. I hate doing dishes (but laundry is my jam. Lol)
I'm so glad to see you back making videos again!❤
We have A LOT more coming over the next month :) Happy to be back!
Wonderful!!!❤

Agreed. I love the small trays but you have to check the water everyday sometimes twice.

I actually have your stainless steel mesh and am wondering if the silicone is a better upgrade compared to that

Ad’s block the information on the bottom of the screen when she’s in the middle of doing something. Not cool
Thank you for letting us know! We'll look into it today and see if we can adjust it so that it doesn't happen right in the middle of a step. 🌱🌱
Do you change the bottom water daily?
Excellent! I just placed my first order 🌱
Debbie in WA Ü
Thank you for the support, Debbie! We hope you enjoy your order when it arrives 😊

Thanks for sharing. The music is a bit too loud and distracting your voice😅
It all looked interesting. Definitely not a beginners video as I have no idea about lots of things you didn’t explain.
