~If you pop a Black Bug Pellet, Dark Infused weapons (especially the Dark Harald) do considerably less damage to you. For instance, my 20% dark absorption goes up to 32%. Huge difference! If the player with the dark build came prepared, they'll most likely swap to Chaos-infused weapons but since you're running a Quality build, you'll have naturally higher fire resist and there's more armor resistant to fire than not. Vice Versa, while someone can stack highly resistant slash defense from armor alone, no one can pop a pellet for more physical defense. :^)
~The OWCS R1-WA "Death Combo" can rival the Gael's GS R1-WA "Death Combo". A charged R2 from a CGS does tremendous poise damage and GS users typically need a lot of poise to tank through that. Meanwhile, the CGS requires much less poise to get through a GS charged R2 with its own charged R2. So if you see a sleazy Gael's user going for a charged R2, send them home in a body bag.

IIRC, bug pellets are PvP nerfed, just like many other body buffs. The actual defense boost is more like 4%

I just died a little inside.
Excellent video like always and one of my favorite weapons and have been using it since launch lol. I even have an old noob vid during launch using that I found funny. All in all keep it up the good work for spreading the none meta love. If I were to recommend another "underrated" weapon it would be demon fists and we can talk about why it is good as we go since it isn't just about the wombo combo it has much much more going for it like the insane stamina damage, and doesn't bounce off perserverance.

I have way over 1000 hours on DS3 myself and there are still some weapons I never really analyzed or spent time on, I just recently picked up the Flamberge (thanks to you) and I'm loving the thing ! So to contribute a little, I researched some weapons that are quite rare to see online and might have more potential than the average player gives credit for. Maybe among them there's another gem for your upcoming videos :)
Crow Quills, Cleric's Candlestick, Onyx Blade, Storm Curved Sword, Crescent Moon Sword, Follower Sabre, Black Blade, Drang Twinspears, Immolation Tinder. They're all somewhat special in their respective clases, maybe some of them are worth a deeper exploration :3
You already had me making a new Quality build after I saw your video on the Flamberge a few days ago. Guess I'm gonna try and make sure that this weapon can be used with it as well.

I knew the day would come when more people start to realize what an amazing weapon the Old Wolf CGS is. It’s hands down one of my fav PvP weapons to use, especially in the early game. I rarely see other people using it and I even sometimes get messages after a duel asking what that weapon is.

It still baffles me that so few players ever use run buffering or ravioli after 3 years of this game being so active. You can also interrupt your weapon art by doing a jumping attack right during the first slach of the weapon art animation for tremendous forward movement and a jolly surprise to vary those who expect you to go backwards.

Reminds me of my sl 30 OWCS build. No point investing into anything but endurance, vitality, strength, and dexterity. Had to rely on PC and +3 FAP ring to even make it to 900 HP.
But man, did I do some damage. Nice to see this often unseen weapon gets some love.
