I was honestly upset at the very moment of this ending because Eddie wasnt getting as much recognition as Lars and Lita had, but then the monologe about being a roadie started playing and it all made complete sense, Eddie didnt do it for the fame or the recognition, he was just doing his job, making others look good and helping the others, man I loved this game :D
While I wish he got his due.I’m impressed with how dedicated his is to his craft.he clearly loves his work and not a lot of people can say that.it really is something to be admired
It’s what makes him such a good and likable protagonist. He didn’t do it for the fame nor did he want it (despite clearly having everything that makes him better than everyone else). He just did his job in the end of the day and is happy with just that.

As much as Eddie Riggs basically *is* Jack Black, I thought he was a great character. And this game was badass.
I also only ended up realizing that I loved metal because of this game and that's something I'm always going to remember.
F Yes, but most Jack Black roles involve him being kind of dumb and clumsy. Eddie is extremely capable and badass, and even manages to beat a fucking demon Lord. He's Jack Black in his appreciation for the Metal, but Eddie really is his own man as far as his abilities, confidence, and coming-of-age story-arc. He was the perfect person to become like a surrogate for the Metal fans playing the game.

I really hope Tim decides to make a second one, I honestly got so invested in the characters and story in this one that the ending completely tore me up. Still makes me sad dude
Isaac Jones if memory serves. when asked about the ending Tim said it was 1 game meant to be twice the length but the publisher was pushing them hard to release it thinking they'd loose the audience so they had to cut it in half. hoping it would be popular enough and when it didn't do amazing they couldn't do part 2.
that's why when they ported it to pc they said "if it gets enough copies sold we may be able to do some dlc for it"

Yeah, they really need to do a sequel. I'd like it to be involved in something like the Killmaster's death. Like, because now Lemmy, aka the Killmaster, is gone, they gotta find someone who can carry on his legacy. A whole quest, to find his eldest.

Tim wants the sequel to be RTS as well which was the biggest complaint everyone has for this game. He's a delusional moron who can't own up to mistakes. If Brutal Legend 2 happens it needs to steer clear from that idiot's hands. He wants to make the same mistake twice.
When I first played, I felt so blessed to be a metalhead. This game is not only epic and entertaining, it's a real experience, in a rich, varied world and made for people who love metal by people who love metal, and as a result, a gem of video gaming. The ending always leaves me moved because I wish the adventure would never end. And I think it's good that Eddie stays the way he is, not chasing glory or accolades, but being a roadie in blood and soul, because that's what he loves, that's what that he wants.
I wrote and imagined a sequel where while Eddie and Ophelia went on a road trip to explore other lands in Brutal Land, Lita inherited the crown after Lars' death and became queen of humans and metal, and established the "Council of Metal Lords" with her strongest and most valuable allies : the Kill Master, the Baron, and Rima. And Mangus became the chief technician of the metal army.

+The Hidden Bush Guy that may be not fun but when the enemy creates more than 2 reapers while playing on Brütal difficulty , you dont have much choice but spam razor girls. They are so fucking cheap and op . Upgrading them makes it more deadly . 2 - 3 squads of not upgraded razor girls while attack buffed are already strong enough to rekt enemy avatars and melee units on multiplayer in early stages. If you upgrade and buff them they become so op that avatars die less than 3 seconds. what iam trying to say is that human faction is so easy to play compared to tainted coil in which you have to defend battle nuns every fucking second . drowning doom is pure dot faction so you have less offensive power than other factions , unless you manage to build reaper and treeguy ( idr its name ) .
In the end if you ask me the strongest faction is Tainted coil if you know how to play. If you can build divine and other tier 3 units you will win almost everytime . Also lets not forget only this faction has tier 4 ( or super ) unit which you can summon anywhere you want.
Medivhmen God yes. The coil's super unit is stupidly unbalanced. I'd even say the whole RTS section is pretty unbalanced. Each army has a few units you can win with if you spam them, and the others are just a waste of resources.
Its unpolished and unrefined, I still love the game for trying a new look in a sea of gray and brown.
Man, I got Goosebumps when I got to this boss battle. Painkiller was the perfect song for a final boss battle.

There needs to be a sequel. The tower defense and RTS aspects threw me big time, but the story and hack & slash/open world portions got me so into it! The story, characters, music, the whole world they created was so epic. I want there to be a sequel if for no other reason than the story left things open enough for something to happen after. I hope Double Fine does it, but Tim Shafer seems to not do the sequel thing too much these days. Hopefully this is one of the exceptions.

In some aspects it's almost like a true hero, they don't need nor want recognition. They're there to fix the problem and move on. All they want is for everything to go right.
Jack Black is not a God, he is a prophet of The Metal. He spreads the Metal Gospel far and wide like so many others before him. The Metal does however have many Gods and the one Brother Black often worships is Ronnie Dio, the master of the Rainbow, the rider of Tigers and the slayer of Demons.
the second painkiller came on I immediately went into gamer mode, leaned forward, eyes wide, head bangin, focused on killed the SOB final boss.
this game is a rollercoaster of feelings sometimes up beat and funny other times depressing and dark
such a perfect blend. The ending always felt so dark and kind of sad even though it ended on a good note everyone feels so separated. This game needs a sequel

I got this game for Christmas and I was expecting Batman Arkham knight and I was mad but damn was I was wrong because if it wasn’t for my grandma getting this game instead of Batman I would never have known about this game and it’s awesomeness I fucking love this game

Brutal Legend is still Double Fine's top selling game. Tim has recently said he's open to the idea of a sequel, but nothing is definite. Double Fine has plenty of work right now putting out remasters.
brutal legend 2 will happen if psyconauts 2 will sell well , this is what devs said. Too bad we did not get lionwhyte as the 4th faction in this game ( devs were going to add them but failed )

I liked this game a lot for some reason. Well..good music..JB is pretty awesome too. I just loved Ophelia :o. Was so sad when she turned lol. Been a loooong time since I've played this game, but it remains to be one of my favorites.

I've always loved stage hand stuff. my dads been through it all stage manager rigger and production manager now for state fairs and huge concerts (:. This is such a cool game, im surprised someone came up with the idea.... I hope they come out with another one like this, just not push the same exact idea.

Kabbage Boy was crucial to the plot. And I'm sure you noticed that as soon as they became non crucial, they got killed off in the dumbest way possible, never to be mentioned again.
Because the roadie knows what the roadie knows and the roadie knows that he where's black clothes and he hides off in the shadows if the stage.

I understand your frustration but but Tenacious D are not a band to be taken seriously, much like my previous comment lol. They do what they do for shits and giggles. I will never compare them to the like of Priest, Maiden, Motorhead or any other band you wish to think of. If I'm honest, I prefer his acting.
