Also, I can see with regards to Ancient Israel worshipping the sun and then those who worship the sun as in nature worshippers and others who ignorantly keep Sunday as the Lord's day instead of the Sabbath, even some of our brethren who have left off keeping the true Sabbath and sadly are now keeping Sunday. However, there is a secondary application that I say more serious application not to the Christian Church at large, but primarily our SDA Church or Modern Israel. Below I will share some Bible and Spirit of Prophecy references to explain why. As we as SDAs know the Testimonies and most all the Spirit of Prophecy was written primarily for the church, although many people have benefited from a few books like Steps to Christ, Desire of Ages, Christ Object Lessons & Great Controversy etc... The Lord says judgment must begin at the house of God.." (1 Peter 4:17, 18). The Lord comes suddenly to His temple to do a work of cleansing (Malachi 3:1-3). As it relates to the Judgment and sealing of the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 14:6 and Ezekiel 9, here what the Lord has to say in Inspiration: "in 1844 our great High Priest entered the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary, to begin the work of the investigative judgement. The cases of the righteous dead have been passing in review before God. So sad to hear this preacher once again butcher the teachings of the 144,000. Notice he leaves out the VERY important SOP reference -- "This sealing of the servants of God is the same that was shown to Ezekiel in vision. John also had been a witness of this most startling revelation." (Testimonies to Ministers, p.445) The Ezek. 9 church judgment upon the SDA church PRODUCES 144,000 as seen by Apostle John in Rev. 7:1-4. He takes this prophecy and puts it to the "world's" final judgment! So sad to see this man time and again "privately interpret" God's word condemned by God's word -- "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation" 2 Peter 1:20.
I wish you read the material titles 'The Sanctified Life' prepared by Bohr where your complain is answered... Read that im sure you'll be blessed because he goes in depth to far than what is presented here.
