Hi! Thank you guys for the information. I read on internet that it's not allowed to drive tuk tuk in the high way.. It seems that it's a myth as I see you driving from town to town. Also, did you have to return the tuk tuk to where you initially rented it from?
Hey Stella!! So the information you have is actually correct, you cannot drive the TukTuk on a highways.. HOWEVER, there are very few highways and the main way to get around is actually normal roads 😀. Sooo you ll be absolutely fine to get around Sri Lanka no problem. We had to return our TukTuk where we collected it in Negombo base for TukTukRental.com. It was super easy and the guys are amazing! If you feel like getting one, feel free to use the discount code in the description to get some discount on it. Safe travels 😊😊😊😊
When driving in Sri Lanka make sure Zebra crossings ahead are identified by a yellow pedestrian crossing sign board 50 meters ahead and a blue sign board on the crossing...
