I actually have one already, but sadly it’s not that fast to work directly off of 🥲 I would opt for the 8tb of onboard storage if it meant I could work solely off my MacBook haha
Beautiful set up! Are you running a KVM switch to go back and forth between your mac and PC? I am running into issues with my PC recognizing my mic/audio interface through the KVM :(
Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed! I’m am not running a switch, it’s just the monitor that I have hooked up to the inputs in the back. My ps5 is through HDMI, PC is through DisplayPort, and my Mac is through thunderbolt. I like the idea of KVM switches but in my opinion, things just work better with a monitor that can do it all 🤗
i like your setup,
you should consider building a NAS, and putting it somewhere very far away from your desk, like a closet or something.
If you manage to do this, you might just be the first ever mac user to ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND how a nas works.
most mac users that i see,
- have excellent taste in aesthetics
- have great cable management skills
- have very nice desks
- value comfort,
- dont understand what a NAS is
- usually resort to a bunch of small ssd's for storage (because they dont understand what a nas is)
- get angry when someone says mac users dont understand what a NAS is, , and decide to buy more usb storage, thinking its a nas
- WHEN they eventually do some research and get a nas, it's usually a synology ( the most apple-like nas maker)
- they fail to understand NAS stands for NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE , and you see them bolting the nas under the desk or some incredibly stupid thing like that, thinking that having it closer to their billion thunderbolt docks will somehow make transfers faster??
Anyways, you have a nice pc, which makes me wonder, why would you even need a ps5 ? i mean, ,,,, sigh.... lemme get outta here before i accidentally offend someone...
Well I’m glad you took the time to comment! I’m also proud to say I have set up my very own NAS which is from Synology. Right now I just use it as extra storage and as a backup to my SSDs. I really do need to upgrade it tho since it’s reaching capacity! Also I only have the PS5 for the exclusives 😎

Can you give some insight as to why you chose the E5 over Flexispot's other options like the E7 or E7 plus (4 leg version). Has the E5 been stable enough for your uses at both sitting and standing heights?
I did a partnership with Flexispot and they sent me the E5 for review but the weight capacity has been 💯 since day one. At both heights it’s really stable. Check out that video if you wanna get some insight on the desk!

Hello! It does not, I achieve this using the thunderbolt port on the back of my monitor for the Mac and display port for my PC 😄
hey do you know if your monitor uses pip and pbp with is picture in picture and picture by picture witch lets me use two devices on one monitor instead of dual monitors
It does buts it’s very unreliable, it drops signal very often when I try to run a split screen 😵💫

Hello! I believe Flexispot only ships to the US currently. They do have some of their products on Amazon so if you have their services in your country, I believe it can work. Hope this helps!

so... you say H9 was built for PS5 but you also it doesn't have full support... may be they wasn't built for playstation? they was built for general gaming usage but with little bit better integration for playstation
